Life is always born from chaos.
"Move! Run!"
"Don't crowd—follow evacuation protocol!"
"Get the children out first! Away from the battlefield—now!"
"Stay calm! Keep moving!"
They scattered like primitive apes, overwhelmed by fear and panic, rushing aimlessly—until there was nowhere left to run.
"Mom… I want my mom!"
"AAAHHH!!"
"Nick? Where's Nick?! Where's my son?!"
"Help! Somebody help me!"
These foolish primates—ninety-nine percent of their achievements were gifts of a one-percent brain mutation. That spark of superior intelligence set them apart from every other species and brought them all they have now.
And yet, what have they done with it?
Confused by their own logic, they filled their short lives with doubt and desperation—and pinned their hopes on caped saviors in masks and costumes.
But that too is only an illusion. In the end, they fall back into chaos. For resources, for convenience, they slaughter neighbors and wage wars. There is no hope.
Cruelty. Selfishness. Fear. Filth.
Like a virus, it spreads across every multiverse. No matter the form of life, time shows that it's hopelessly irredeemable.
But now...
"Embrace the Anti-Matter. This is a power you cannot resist!"
With a thunderous roar, the Anti-Monitor unleashed a torrent of energy, slamming it into the Anti-Anti-Monitor Armor's shields. A dazzling blast lit up the battlefield.
The Nova Dome flickered violently. The shield's threshold was being pushed to its limit. This kind of power was far beyond what any planetary tech was designed to endure.
The massive mech—the Anti-Anti-Monitor Armor—began to tremble. The earlier clash had already caused significant damage. Inside, its "passengers" were practically welding themselves to the walls to avoid being thrown out.
"I've heard louder threats," Tony Stark muttered. "Unless you're a zombie, I'm not scared of you."
Unafraid of the Anti-Monitor's fury, Stark launched a counterattack from the giant armor.
"You picked the wrong guy, big fella. Hurting innocent people doesn't prove a damn thing."
"Life has no meaning!"
The Anti-Monitor's mocking laughter echoed as it lunged at the towering mech, waves of anti-matter radiating from its body. The energy was so intense it began to melt through the Nova Dome's shielding layer by layer.
Screeching alarms pierced the air. Lights died out one by one. Sustaining a robot this size—comparable to a space station—was already difficult. Fighting a multiversal god like the Anti-Monitor drained its energy faster than it could recover.
"You're fleeting ants. Viruses in the multiverse. A glitch in this world's system!"
The Anti-Monitor's massive head lowered toward the mech's own. Through the tiny viewing windows, it locked eyes with Stark inside the control room.
That horrifying face eclipsed all light.
Sweat beaded on Tony's forehead, his jaw tight. The terror was real.
"False hope," the Anti-Monitor growled. "You can't resist me. Even that so-called New God stood no chance. And you—an insect—what hope do you have?"
Tony smirked.
"Alright, maybe I can't win alone…"
He raised an eyebrow.
"But what if they joined me?"
"?!"
The Anti-Monitor turned just in time to be blasted in the face by a beam of pure crimson energy—knocking it backward in shock.
"NOW! Fire everything we've got!" Stark shouted.
[Yes, sir.]
JARVIS didn't hesitate. The moment Tony Stark gave the command, the entire Anti-Anti-Monitor Armor lit up in a dazzling array of colors.
Brilliant beams of energy surged from every part of the towering iron giant. Every single weapons system activated in unison. At such close range, Stark had no fear of missing.
"Feast your eyes—this is tech from the top civilizations across the cosmos!"
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Blinding laser fire and cannon blasts lit up half the sky. Thunderous explosions rang out, echoing like a volley of thunder. In just one salvo, the Anti-Monitor was swallowed by the barrage.
Thick smoke erupted like a volcanic plume. Even with anti-matter energy coursing through its body, the Anti-Monitor stumbled backward under the overwhelming assault.
"Don't let it recover—hit it with everything!"
Tony's voice thundered through the battlefield, amplified by loudspeakers embedded across the mech.
Not that the others needed reminding.
From the smoke, several figures soared into the air, surrounding the Anti-Monitor from all directions.
"How dare you?!"
The Anti-Monitor roared, slamming its fist forward—only for that strike to be caught and held in place.
A red cape fluttered in front of the giant's clenched fist.
"Because we're the Justice League!"
Clark Kent held the Anti-Monitor at bay with all his strength. Behind him, Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, Mera, and other Justice League members joined the fight.
They didn't give the Anti-Monitor a chance to speak—blow after blow landed on its face. With a furious howl, it unleashed a shockwave that sent Superman flying backward.
"My servants—arise!"
The Anti-Monitor raised its hand, summoning an army of Shadow Demons that filled the sky like a living storm, streaking toward the League heroes with black, fiery tails.
And then—
CRACK!
A bolt of lightning split the sky, striking the swarm and halting their advance.
Dark storm clouds began to churn violently. A hurricane formed out of thin air.
Everyone paused, breath held, gazing at the pitch-black heavens.
Then—
One by one, starships began to emerge from the clouds. First dozens. Then hundreds. Then thousands—each uniquely designed, each armed for war.
At the heart of the fleet stood a golden-haired woman wielding Mjolnir. Lightning danced around her as she raised the hammer high, her aura terrifying and majestic.
Damian Wayne recognized them instantly. These were no strangers—this was the galactic coalition of civilizations that had once allied with the Wasteland Earth. Even the Nova Corps, nearly wiped out by Galactus, had returned.
"What... How is this possible?" Damian's jaw dropped. "In such a short time?!"
He wasn't shocked that Earth could rally support—but to bring entire spacefaring civilizations to the battlefield this fast? That defied reason.
Even if Lex Luthor had contacted them in advance, those civilizations were scattered across the galaxy. There was no way they could've assembled here this quickly.
After all, the two universes were now synchronized—Wasteland Earth shouldn't have had that much time.
"Did someone say... time?"
Just then, a playful voice called out from behind Damian.
He spun around and saw a girl—no more than a teenager—casually walking through a blue rectangular portal. Beside her stood a man and woman in tactical suits.
"Mr. Richards? Mrs. Storm?" Damian's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Don't forget, Damian—we work for the Masters of Time. And for those who dwell outside of the timeline, time is the one thing we'll never run out of," Reed Richards said with a calm smile.
Beside him, Susan Storm nodded and continued, "Even though Franklin—who's now bound to the Wasteland Universe—can't come here himself, with his power, transporting this many people was child's play. And with him holding the line, we don't have to worry about anti-matter energy breaching into the Wasteland Universe."
As if to confirm her words, Damian saw—just for a moment—a towering figure of pure light standing between the two universes, holding back the surging waves of anti-matter energy.
"This is our only shot," Reed Richards said seriously. "For the multiverse, for every timeline, we must defeat that thing right here, in this world."
Damian frowned. "But… the Shadow Demons, there are too many."
"Leave them to us."
With that, a series of glowing blue portals opened across the field, and more figures emerged in front of Damian.
Emma Frost, Wolverine (Logan), Raven, Harley Quinn, and others stepped out, weapons in hand and expressions grim, their eyes locked on the Anti-Monitor across the field.
"Guess I found myself a reason to finally take a day off."
A dark green mech stepped through one of the portals. Lex Luthor, clad in his power armor once again, sneered under his breath. Behind him marched the Madame Masque, leading an entire legion of Doombots in tight formations. Beside them stood the Blood Baron with his bloodborn army, flanked by the Hulk Clan and the Lizard Tribes who had since been brought under control.
"Lex…" Damian muttered, dazed. It had been years since he'd seen Luthor don the war suit.
"Don't forget us, either, Damian!"
A confident voice rang out. Kate Bishop stepped through, wielding a high-tech laser rifle. Behind her marched the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Star-Lord (Quill), Groot, Beta Ray Bill, Nebula, and others.
On another front, Vivian led the New Avengers, while Conner Kent led the Young Justice League, all converging with their team leaders.
"Captain," Vivian said as she stopped in front of Red Hood, offering him a shield.
Red Hood rolled his eyes under the mask but said nothing. He swept his gaze over the group: Black Widow (Lady Shiva), Colossus, Kate's Hawkeye, Nova, Valkyrie, and Ant-Boy—all present and ready.
Nodding slightly, Red Hood turned his attention to Black Adam, who at that moment was still struggling under the grip of Conner and Shazam. The Anti-Life Equation had taken hold of him—but just barely.
"Let me,"
Wonder Woman leapt down, landing steadily in front of Black Adam.
Nightwing and Red Hood stepped aside, giving her room.
No words wasted. She simply reached to her waist and pulled free the Lasso of Truth, flinging it straight at Black Adam.
With a piercing sound, the golden rope wrapped firmly around his neck, glowing with divine light.
"Remember who you are, Teth-Adam," Wonder Woman said firmly, eyes narrowed. "As a king, you should never be shackled by the Anti-Life Equation."
With her words, the Lasso of Truth radiated a surge of divine power, and in that moment, Black Adam's clouded eyes began to clear.
A deep, beast-like growl escaped his throat, but his thrashing slowed—until finally, he stilled. Conner and Shazam released their grip.
Breathing heavily, Black Adam raised his head. He first looked at Red Hood and Nightwing, who had stopped his rampage, then slowly scanned the assembled ranks of heroes.
At last, his gaze fell upon Wonder Woman, her body now a fusion of flesh and cybernetics.
Sensing the immense divine energy radiating from her—and the strange, unfamiliar familiarity it carried—Black Adam licked his cracked lips.
"Do I… know you people?"
