The Anti-Monitor—a being trapped in endless cycles of destruction and rebirth.
He was like a twisted reflection of the universe itself, a force that could neither be defined nor destroyed. No matter the injury, no matter how complete the annihilation, the Anti-Monitor would always resurrect within the Antimatter Universe. He was bound to it—inseparable from its very essence.
"The Anti-Monitor's energy is... still growing," Doctor Strange muttered, his voice tense. He'd been carefully monitoring the entity above, and the energy radiating from Him made even Strange's seasoned heart pound with unease.
If they hadn't pinned all hope on Alex, Strange might have opened a portal and dragged the Punisher far away from this madness.
He had never felt a presence this overwhelming before—a majestic force powered by countless realities. Just standing in the Anti-Monitor's presence, Strange found it difficult to stabilize his spells.
Beside him, the Punisher clutched his axe, his hands trembling slightly. As an ordinary human, he couldn't sense what Strange did. He didn't understand the sheer difference in power—they weren't even in the same league. His only thought was: find a way to hit this bastard hard.
High above, the Anti-Monitor let out a cold chuckle as he watched the direction in which the Sentry had vanished.
The Anti-Life Equation worked by targeting the very essence of life. Once ensnared, resistance was futile. Even beings that could threaten Him—if they were alive—they could be turned into puppets. It was only a matter of time now.
Clouds churned across the heavens. Antimatter energy surged through the skies, destabilizing the very foundation of Earth-Flashpoint One. From the planet's surface, waves of violent energy began radiating outward in all directions.
The gateway linking the Positive and Antimatter universes widened dramatically. From within it, Shadow Demons howled as they poured into the world in droves. Meanwhile, in parallel universes unnoticed by most, vast waves of gray antimatter took form, building walls that began devouring every Earth at their core—one after another.
People screamed and fled their homes, staring in horror at blood-red skies.
No one knew what was happening. No one understood why this devastation had fallen upon them. Against the unstoppable wall of antimatter, they had no defense—no hope. All they could do was wait for oblivion.

In the DC Cinematic Universe
An older Batman stood beside the Bat-Signal, his face grim as he watched the antimatter wall approach from the distance. His expression was a storm of emotions.
In Metropolis, Clark Kent held his pregnant wife Lois Lane and his mother Martha tightly. In his final moments, all he wanted was to be with his family.
Elsewhere, Lex Luthor and his League of Supervillains had fallen completely silent. Lex had dismissed them all. Now, alone in his war room, he sat in silence, staring down, lost in thought.

In the Universe of Apokolips War Universe
Galactus, wielding cosmic power, blasted Darkseid across the void. But just as he raised his hand to land a second blow—
He stopped.
He slowly turned his head.
There it was—a massive gray wall, sweeping across the universe with impossible speed. Galactus felt something he rarely did—unease.
Behind him, Trigon, who had been preparing to ambush Galactus, also froze.
As a demon who once ruled over fragments of the Multiverse, none knew the origin of that energy better than him. But what stunned him most was this:
How could the Anti-Monitor's antimatter wave reach this universe too?
-----------------------------------
"Are you afraid?"
The Anti-Monitor spread his arms wide, his gaze locking onto the two mortals below. A cold sneer curled at the corners of his lips.
"You should be afraid… but don't worry. You're not my target."
His voice echoed like thunder, shaking the air around Doctor Strange, forcing him to retreat another few steps. Without the Sentry's support, Strange found it nearly impossible to cast anything effective against such a being.
Truthfully, Strange had no idea what spell in his vast arsenal could even begin to injure a cosmic horror like this.
The Anti-Monitor didn't even consider the two before him worthy of notice. He didn't bother to unleash the Anti-Life Equation on them. He simply floated there in the sky, still, calm—like a god awaiting something.
In contrast, Strange and the Punisher dared not make a move. One Anti-Monitor was terrifying enough. But the endless tide of Shadow Demons behind him? That was suicide.
"Stephen…" the Punisher whispered, trying to speak.
But Doctor Strange merely shook his head. Without knowing the Anti-Monitor's true intentions, he didn't want to provoke Him. If they were lucky, maybe the entity would continue to ignore them. Then, breaking the eerie silence, the Anti-Monitor moved.
Strange and the Punisher immediately went on alert, bracing for an attack. But instead of striking, the Anti-Monitor slowly turned his head… and looked into the distance.
Following his gaze, they saw it too: the air in the far distance began to ripple—space itself expanding unnaturally. A massive circular portal tore open in the fabric of reality.
"What is that…?" Strange narrowed his eyes.
It looked like a teleportation gate—but there was no magical signature at all. That puzzled him. Even when the Anti-Monitor had descended, the air had pulsed with arcane energy.
But this portal… it was purely technological. And somehow, it had pierced space in a way that rivaled even the highest mystic arts. The next moment, several dark silhouettes slowly emerged from the shimmering gateway.
The first thing to emerge from the portal was a massive hand—then an arm, a shoulder, and finally the entire body. A towering giant stepped forward, with gray skin and glowing indigo armor. And from sheer presence alone, he was no less imposing than the Anti-Monitor.
"Finally…"
The Anti-Monitor's eyes gleamed with undisguised joy as he beheld the arrival of the figure who stood like a sovereign descending upon his domain.
"Darkseid."
Now standing face-to-face with the Anti-Monitor, Darkseid could finally feel the terrifying energy emanating from him. His crimson eyes locked onto the enemy's, and raw, godlike power began to surge around him.
"Someone told me not to come to Earth," Darkseid said coldly.
"You should've listened to them," the Anti-Monitor replied with a sadistic grin, clearly eager to twist off Darkseid's head with his own hands.
"Your existence must be erased, Darkseid. Only then… can I escape this cursed cycle of despair."
"Don't worry, Anti-Monitor," Darkseid snarled, his eyes radiating Omega energy, "I'll end your despairing cycle myself."
"With my own hands!"
Before he even finished his sentence, a blast of Omega Beams shot from his eyes—zigzagging wildly in the air—then homed in on the Anti-Monitor's head like a bolt of sentient lightning.
The raw force of the energy was unbearable to behold. Even from a distance, the Punisher couldn't help but gulp in awe at its might.
But the Anti-Monitor had been ready. With a sweep of his arm, he unleashed a beam of purple energy that collided with the Omega Beams midair.
A thunderous explosion tore through the heavens as Omega Effect and Anti-Life Equation—two of the most destructive forces in the multiverse—clashed. The sky was ripped open, and the surging shockwave obliterated everything in its path.
"It's time to end this!"
The Anti-Monitor roared as a storm of Shadow Demons erupted behind him, blotting out the sky as they surged toward Darkseid like a tidal wave of death.
But Darkseid stood his ground. He raised his arm and swung it down like a general commanding his legions. From a blinding Boom Tube, Desaad emerged, leading an army of Parademons and the Furies of Apokolips.
"Your resistance is meaningless, New God!" the Anti-Monitor bellowed.
"You have no idea what kind of being you're up against!"
"Then tell your false god—"
Desaad's hands crackled with decayed energy as he let out a thunderous cry.
"Why do we fight?!"
"For Darkseid!!"
The armies of Apokolips screamed in unison, weapons raised high, throwing themselves headfirst into the onslaught against the Anti-Monitor and his shadow spawn.
War erupted.
Gotham was no longer a city. Skyscrapers crumbled into ash. The earth cracked and split like jagged scars, reduced to a ruin of smoking debris. Wild energy screamed through the skies like banshees, and no one—hero or god—could guarantee survival in this chaos.
Doctor Strange didn't hesitate. He grabbed the Punisher and turned to flee.
"We're not built for this," he growled.
He knew they were utterly outmatched in this battle of gods. But escaping the blast radius was easier said than done.
Just as they dodged a lunging Shadow Demon, a searing beam of energy sliced through Strange's magical cloak. A pack of Parademons ambushed them from behind, knocking both men from the air.
Although the Cloak of Levitation was doing its best to support the weight of both men, it was too damaged to fully ensure its master's safety.
Just as Doctor Strange and the Punisher were plummeting toward the ruins below, a figure flashed into existence behind them—instantly catching their falling bodies and halting their descent.
"You?!"
Turning around, both Strange and the Punisher were stunned to see a familiar short-haired woman.
"You're the one who was with Alex…"
"Hold on tight. I'm getting you both out of here."
Kara nodded briefly, but she knew this wasn't the time for talk. Without another word, she swept away from the battlefield with the two men in tow—using the cover provided by Black Adam and Shazam as they held the enemy lines.
