Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 : A Lizardlions Feelings

Meera (296 A.C Third Moon)

The Neck

'The last eleven moons had wrought a change to her life she had not expected. Throughout her days, she had resigned herself to the notion that she would forever dwell within the swampy depths of the Neck, never venturing beyond its marshy confines.

Yet, life had other plans for her, causing her to develop feelings for one of her closest companions and then to have Alysanne, who was like a sister to her, already fallen for her companion's heart. Companion whose mere presence quickened her young heart. Alas, she was but two and ten years of age, while Alysanne had already blossomed into a maiden of five and ten name days, a woman grown.

She knew Aenar and Alysanne had been together in a more intimate way than just kissing. It had hurt when she found out about it. She had more than once heard of the noise they made in his or her room. Yet since Aenar's name, something had changed between them as if they had grown up.' Meera lost in thought, watched as Aenar and Alysanne occupied the far end of the boat, engaged in an exchange that piqued her curiosity. 'What are they talking about.'

Her mind wandered toward their current journey, ultimately leading them to the formidable stronghold known as Moat Cailin. 'A bastion of great significance to the North. Aenar, recognizing its strategic importance, had impressively conveyed its value to Lord Stark, prompting the restoration of this ancient to keep. Within its walls, Aenar intended to establish his residence and expand his sphere of influence. Having already had brave men who volunteered to serve Jon Snow, a true son of the North. Or at least that is what most people knew.

Yet Aenar has more ambitions. He had presented plans to Lord Stark advocating the construction of a canal that would connect the Narrow Sea to the Summer Sea, facilitating the seamless flow of trade from East to West.

She remembered that Aenar had discussed a plan to help the North further, advise the Mormonts, and develop a more robust port at Bear Island. Such an endeavor would enable the exportation of goods from the farthest reaches of the North to the Southern realms. And when the canal was completed, trade could expand its reach even to the eastern lands. Aenar had also provided similar guidance to Karhold, suggesting the establishment of a second port on the eastern shores of the North.' She smiled as she remembered Aenar's ramblings.

Breaking her thoughts, she stood up and walked toward the pair. "Jon, please, enlighten me about your stronghold, something I don't know," she asked as he momentarily broke away from his conversation with Alysanne.

Aenar, pausing to collect his thoughts, responded, "Ah, the Moat, my lady, stands as a weathered citadel, its former grandeur now reduced to ruin. Three towers alone persist amidst its dilapidated state. The grandest among them is the gatehouse, a towering edifice that guards the keep's entrance. Then we have the slender and majestic Children's Tower, resembling your own grace. And finally, there is the Drunkard's Tower, named as it's leaning slightly to one sight due to the absence of a supporting wall. Sadly, such ruinous beauty plagues much of the Moat's ancient walls, though some sections still maintain their functionality." He finished and gave her a smile, the one she loved so much.

"Hmm, I'm correct that the hundred longbow will join its garrison?" She asked.

Aenar nodded affirmatively, his gaze fixed upon her. "Indeed, they shall join our ranks and should be installed when I return after the journey. I'm unsure how long I'll stay in the Neck, as I have to lead the lands around it. Neither I'm sure how other things will develop.

Hopefully, when we return, Arthur will have managed to secure my heritage from the Iron Bank. With that support, I hope to start building a true company of men and a navy. We can always say we recover those extra funds during the reconstruction. Who knows what lies in the sunk depths of Moat Cailin." He replied, smiling at the prospect.

A mischievous glint sparkled in Aenar's eyes as he continued, his tone laced with playful flirtation. "I daresay, my lady, a fierce lizardlion like yourself would be well-suited to train the future Crannogmen in the art of the bow upon your return to Greywater Watch. I can think of no woman as fierce as you, save for Alysanne." Aenar finished with a big grin and glittering eyes.

His words caught me off guard, and a blush crept upon my cheeks. A part of me was flattered by his words, while another part wondered at his intentions. But seeing how he was around people, especially Alysanne, she wasn't worried about it.

"Thank you. If I can help, I shall. What else are friends for." Replied, trying to sound casual.

Moat Cailin

As they arrived at the Moat, the ancient stronghold unfolded before them, mirroring the descriptions Aenar had shared and the lessons imparted by their maester back in the Neck. Yet from what she could see, in the morning light, the rebuilding of the fortress and excavation had started. Yet not much time was spent on as their company was weary and settled in quick as they had arrived late during the day, hastily partaking in a simple meal before retiring to their quarters, aware that the journey to Winterfell awaited them in two days.

Yet sleep did not come for her, as a restless curiosity stirred within her. 'Hmm, I wish I had asked them before, I have to know what is happening.' With that thought, she left her bed and crept to Aenar's chamber. When she reached it, she heard sounds and voices.

"Yes, my wolf, give it to me," a sultry, feminine voice called out, intermingling with moans and fervent grunts.

"Fuck," She mouthed to herself, intrigued. Meera inched closer to the door. Then she looked into the whole key. She saw her friend's coupling. Aenar was on top of Alysanne, his movements fast and seemed to pleasure Alyssane as her face was one of delight. "Of course, my star, I shall grant your every desire," Aenar's words broke out as she stepped away from the keyhole, as the sounds of flesh meeting flesh continued to pierce the air. "Alysanne, I hope you know your cunt feels amazing. I'm close to bursting." Aenar's voice, heavy with desire, declared. A hushed and elusive response escaped Alysanne's lips, reaching her ears. "Yes, give me all of it, a ...," her voice trailed off, barely discernible. And then, a resounding grunt from Aenar.

"Oh, Aenar, you were desperate for my cunt, weren't you? Nine days without it," a husky of Alysanne said as the noises quieted down. "Ha, my love, as if you were not equally desperate, yearning for my cock inside of you, you were dripping for me," Aenar responded, his tone filled with playful intimacy.

Meera hurried back to her chambers, heart pounding in her chest. She shut the door behind her, pressing her back against the wooden surface as she tried to steady her breathing. A warmth curled in her stomach—an unfamiliar, restless energy that left her feeling both exhilarated and unsettled.

She had not expected to witness such an intimate moment. Aenar and Alysanne, so lost in each other, had been utterly unaware of anything else. It was raw, unguarded—nothing like the careful courtly dances of flirtation she had observed before. It had stirred something inside her, a warm feeling near her underbelly.

Meera exhaled, running a hand through her hair as she sat down on her bet. Her face and body felt warm. With a sigh, she climbed into bed, pulling the furs around her. Yet sleep did not come easily, instinctliy Meera's fingers brushed against her womanhood, finding it damp. She gasped softly, surprised by the wetness. Her other hand crept under her nightgown, palming her breast. She pinched her nipple, imagining it was Aenar's mouth instead. "Mmm..." she moaned quietly, her hips lifting off the bed.

"What's happening to me?" She whispered to herself, her fingers slipping inside of her. She pumped them slowly, her breath coming faster." It feels so good..." She bit her lip, her mind filled with images of Aenar and Alysanne. She wished she was Alysanne, and she wished it was Aenar touching her like that. "Oh gods..." she gasped, her fingers moving faster, her thumb rubbing her clit. She was close, so close...

Meera's body tensed, her back arching off the bed. She quickly grabbed her pillow and stifled a scream as her orgasm crashed over her. Her hips bucked wildly, her finger buried inside her cunt. "Aenar..." she whimpered, his name slipping out unbidden. She collapsed back onto the bed, panting heavily, her nightgown soaked with sweat. She felt guilty, 'He is Alysanne's.'

"What have I done?" she whispered, pulling the furs over her trembling body. She knew she shouldn't think this way, yet all she could think about was doing it again. Doing it with Aenar. "I'm a terrible person..." she muttered, tears slipping out. "I should speak with them tomorrow. So I can speak my mind and leave it behind me." She exclaimed as she drifted off to sleep that had finally come.

Morning, Meera's chamber.

The morning sun painted the room with its gentle light as Meera waited for Aenar and Alysanne to arrive for breakfast. 'As she wanted them, she could ask them about their last night's encounter and explain her feelings. Perhaps she could also have a relationship with Aenar if they knew she desired the same. Or I can finally put this crush behind me.' Meera mused as the door opened, and Aenar and Alysanne entered, carrying a plate of food. Aenar had one for her as well.

As they settled into our seats, Her mind and heart were razing, and she was waiting to know all about them. To confess her feelings as she thought about what she had fantasized about last night.

Meera took a deep breath, summoning the courage to share her secret. "I must confess something," she began, her voice barely above a whisper, "I asked to speak to you both here for breakfast because... I spied on you both last night. I wanted to know what was happening between you, too. As I felt that, for some time, something had changed. I know you too, couple, and not how it was before." Heat rushed to my cheeks as I uttered the words, a mix of vulnerability and nervousness coursing through me.

Alysanne's eyes widened, her face flushed with mortification. Aenar's gaze met mine, a flicker of recognition and understanding in his eyes. "So, spied on us, and o saw us fucking?" Alysanne said bluntly, and she nodded and blushed at the word fucking. Yet you heard us before. We had no idea you had... heard us in Greywater Watch. Why didn't you say anything," Alysanne said, her voice deep with worry.

"I was jealous, as I find myself attracted to Aenar, as for why I went out last. I suspected that something had changed between you since the day of Aenar's nameday celebrations. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but I desired to uncover the truth," Meera confessed, her voice laced with a mix of curiosity and vulnerability. Her face flushed with a mixture of anticipation and hurt.

Alysanne reached out, her hand gently resting on mine. "Meera, why didn't you tell me I suspect something already? But it wasn't my place to tell your secret. Although I'm not pleased you spied on us, please understand that our actions were never meant to hurt you or make you feel excluded. Aenar and I are committed to each other. I love him and don't regret it. We thought it best to spare you the burden, as we didn't want you not to lie, and as you are younger than us, so we wish to keep your innocence. But it seems you already knew something, so that argument goes out the window. So I'm sorry we kept you in the dark." Alysanne explained as she blushed.

"As for me, dear Meera, I have long admired your unwavering spirit, strength, and growing beauty. I hesitated to act on my feelings, fearing the consequences. Being with me isn't simple. As you know that well. I am heir to the Iron Throne, and there are things you don't yet know. Then there is your youth and your status as a lord's daughter. I thought I was protecting you by keeping my distance, but now I see that I should have trusted you to make your own choices. For that, I am sorry." Aenar's gaze locked onto Meera's, a mixture of regret and longing reflected in his violet eyes.

Meera's heart pounded as his words washed over her. A blend of relief and frustration swelled within her. Grateful for his honesty, yet dismayed at the time, lost to hesitation. "I appreciate both your apologies," she said, her voice firm with a hint of defiance. "But in less than a year, I will be three and ten, and I am more than capable of making my own choices. Aenar, I liked you from the moment you arrived, and I no longer wish to wait for a kiss." She finished with a smirk, placing her hands on her hips.

Aenar chuckled, stepping closer. "In that case, allow me to make it up to you."

Before she could respond, he kissed her fully on the lips. Warmth rushed to her cheeks. 'I only meant it as a jest. I didn't expect him to actually kiss me! But I don't care… his lips are soft and sweet,' she thought, delighted.

When they finally parted, Aenar's smile was bright with determination. "Consider this my declaration of intent, Meera. I want nothing more than to explore this connection with you. However, I will respect your age and wait until you reach thirteen before taking any further steps."

Meera blinked, finally recovering from the shock. "Hmm… I meant that as a joke," she admitted, her voice light.

Aenar's face flushed. "Oh."

She laughed, the tension melting away. "It doesn't matter, I liked it. In fact, if you don't mind, I wouldn't mind another one."

"As my lady commands," Aenar said with a playful grin, leaning in once more. When they parted, Alysanne's amused voice interrupted them. "Does she taste sweet, my dear?"

Aenar smirked. "Very. She should try for herself if Meera allows it." Alysanne turned to Meera, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "Well?" Meera hesitated for only a moment before nodding. "Mmm… okay."

She then felt Alysanne lips on her. They were fuller than Aenar's yet not less sweet. "That one was good too." She replied. "Well, don't worry, Meera, Aenar, and I will give more in the future," Alysanne giggled.

"Well, let's eat, and we will tell you more about what you wish to know," Aenar suggested. "I would like that," Meera replied, as she smiled.
