Chapter 397 - MD-Chapter 394 Anxious!

1296?

Arthur pondered the significance of this number in his heart, but after thinking for a long time, he still couldn't figure it out.

Yet he always felt that this number shouldn't have come into existence for no reason.

"Probably, only in the future will I be able to find the answer."

Putting this thought aside, Arthur couldn't help but sigh again.

This time, the Disassemble process had definitely strengthened his overall power several times; under the golden light, every inch of flesh and blood was continuously refining.

It is not an exaggeration to say that the transition from white to gold represents a level upgrade.

Once it turned golden, from the perspective of life level, it had overall risen a tier!

But there was a problem.

This time, he had Disassembled six hundred Spaceships in one go, yet there were no mixed soul crystals!

Based on the previous upgrade experience, the current Disassembler should reach another watershed during the next awakening... Intermediate Level 3!

And once the experience accumulated is full, it is likely to enter a critical upgrade phase.

The last process was vivid in his mind; if he couldn't obtain a mixed soul crystal, it was very likely that the end of the Disassembler would be approaching...

At this stage, Arthur could not accept such an outcome.

"But there is still a chance!" Arthur closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, he sent a communication to Natasha.

"What's the matter?"

Natasha's crisp "It's me" was no longer audible; it had lazily turned into "What's the matter?"

Recently, during the journey to Xandar, it was clear that some people had begun to grow impatient.

Natasha was one, and Thor was another.

So, it was time to leave here.

"Gather everyone; we should leave now," Arthur said.

"Received!"

Natasha immediately perked up and hung up the communication before Arthur could say anything.

Arthur smirked, and with a thought, he instantly found himself in mid-air.

Looking down, he realized that he had directly teleported several hundred meters in an instant!

This suddenly gave him another idea: "Is it that the stronger I become, the more spatial energy I can mobilize?"

But if he followed this logic further, he found it a bit absurd.

The higher the Disassembler's level, the more he could Disassemble, and the stronger he became.

And when he became strong enough to absorb the entire Tesseract and the Space Stone clean... would that mean the Disassembler had also reached the level to Disassemble Infinity Gems? At that point, would he still need to work so hard to absorb energy?

"So, actually, this golden finger just speeds things up a bit. It doesn't allow me to instantly become fat in one bite."

Arthur scratched his head and felt a bit confused.

If this thing could instantly make him fat in one bite, would he still be messing around here? He would have long gone to dig out the insides of that purple sweet potato.

Unfolding the wings of the Crow God, Arthur flew towards their resting place.

In the sky, he occasionally saw a patrolling Nova Corps soldier, who saluted him from the cockpit.

The citizens had long since gotten used to it; seeing a figure with black wings flying around made them very happy, clapping and cheering, but they refused to take photos!

Without a word, he flew to the location, where a group of people had already been waiting.

Arthur didn't waste time and directly said, "Thor, you will come with me to a place; the others will return to Earth through the Bifrost of Asgard."

Thor was taken aback: "Where to?"

"Khowhere." Arthur glanced at Thor: "We are going to visit the Collector."

"I've heard that name from Star-Lord," Spider-Man quickly said. "He seems to be an influential figure in the universe."

"And he likes to collect all sorts of things... including people!"

Tony looked at Arthur and said, "Well... I have something I don't know if I should say."

Arthur was moved to tears; Tony actually said such a thing one day? Perhaps one day he would see the quality of 'humility' reappear in Tony!

So, he decisively said, "Then don't say it."

Tony was choked up, patting his chest to calm himself: "I think if I don't say it, I will feel very uncomfortable."

"Then just say it," Arthur said, looking at him with a bored expression.

"I'm just worried that if he sees your treasured old bones, it would be easy for you to end up in his collection room."

Tony's sharp tongue was always shining.

Arthur gave him a couple of glances and then chuckled.

Tony's pupils constricted, and he turned to Thor, saying, "I think we should notify Heimdall."

"Why don't we just use the Bifrost to depart?" Thor asked Arthur.

"Let's try not to attract too much attention."

Arthur pressed his lips together: "The noise from the Bifrost is too loud..."

After saying that, he looked at Tony and Banner: "Once we return, stay at the Camp Lehigh base for a while longer. Get the things on hand researched as soon as possible. Natasha, start handling that matter immediately once we get back. After we finish our business here, I will return to Earth!"

Everyone agreed, but only Spider-Man jumped up and down: "What about me? What about me?"

"…Keep being your villain nemesis!" Arthur replied. "You've been out for so long; the little thugs in Queens must be missing you terribly. Don't let them down."

"I've already been to the universe; shouldn't my ambitions be a bit bigger?"

Spider-Man touched his face, wondering why Arthur was speaking to him like he was a child.

"Trust me, you won't be looking forward to it for long."

After giving the necessary instructions, Arthur went to find Nova Prime to say goodbye.

Nova Prime was still a bit confused; there had been no prior indication. Seeing Arthur like this, she thought he was planning to settle on Xandar, so why was he suddenly leaving? And now?

"Isn't this a bit hasty? Even if you're leaving, please let us hold a farewell banquet for you!"

"Oh, no, I can't; there's an urgent matter at home!"

Arthur said, "Tony's wife is about to give birth, and they are all godparents; I'm the great-grandfather... I need to hurry back to welcome the new life."

Nova Prime was taken aback, feeling inexplicably anxious to help, and only after Arthur emphasized it several times did she finally relent.

In the end, she watched as a group gathered together, Arthur conjured a Spaceship out of thin air, and everyone boarded, flying away...

"…Leaving in such a hurry, could it be that they did something bad?"

Nova Prime watched from a distance, looking bewildered.
