Prometheus and Elli approached the massive ruined structure, their footsteps crunching against the dusty ground. The ruin rose several stories above the surrounding wasteland, its weathered stone walls covered in cracks and patches of dark discoloration.
Several enormous pillars stood around the entrance, some still intact while others had broken and fallen against the outer walls. Despite its age and dilapidated appearance, the structure retained an imposing presence that made the nearby research equipment and temporary shelters look insignificant by comparison.
Prometheus adjusted his glasses as he examined the structure from a distance.
Somehow, this place looks familiar.
