"Looks like they've arrived." Katarina looked up and frowned a bit.
"Honestly, I was expecting them to arrive later. Do they trust me that much?" Several portals opened in the air as she spoke.
I looked up at them and familiar mana signatures filled the sky as they began dropping to the ground.
"Kire!" I spotted someone familiar and leaped up and shot towards him.
"Sai." Kire just nodded his head as I came to a stop before him. Until I remembered I was midair and started falling down.
"How the hell can I reach space and do a whole other bunch of amazing stuff but still can't fly?" I did have several techniques that would allow me to fly but nothing was cooler than the real deal.
"What if I convert my magic? Nah, that process is too painful even for me." I shook my head as I crashed into the earth.
I made sure to land on my feet. Thanks to my amazing skills, not a single speck of dust had landed on my body.
