CHAPTER 32
ALEXIA P. O. V
"Oh my goodness you are okay, l was so worried" Clara wailed
"You got us all really scared, what happened?"
I wanted to tell them everything but doc advice against it , l felt so bad for keeping things from them because we had a pact and now l have just broken it
"I..um... I had a breakdown.. yeah that's it l just suddenly felt overwhelmed by the party and my illness of before didn't help matters" I lied
"I'm sorry maybe l shouldn't have insisted on that stupid party anyway now see what I did to my best friend" Clara beat herself up
"No Clara it has nothing to do with you the party was awesome"
' still l shouldn't have insisted '
"No is good you insisted if not l wouldn't have realised how good you are at organising parties"
"Wait how did you know l thought of that" Clara looked shocked
"You said so yourself"
"No l didn't, l just thought of it in my head l never said that"
"Wait, you didn't said that?" I asked
She shook her head and looked at Naomi and she shook her head too
"She never said that" Naomi added
What the hell?, did l just read her mind?
I tried to laugh it off " I probably guessed it"
"So.... I saw you hitting it off with Allen yesterday" I said to Naomi desperately trying to change the topic. She blushed
"He asked me out"
"Aww l'm so happy for you, you are finally out of your shell" Clara said
"Yeah congrats" I told her
Whew l was able to distract them
" What about you, l saw you with a eye candy yesterday" Clara turned to me
"What are you talking about? It was nothing "
"That didn't seem like nothing to me, your faces were so close yesterday " Naomi said
"I was drunk, you know l wouldn't do that"
"Maybe you should, giving love a try shouldn't be such a bad idea even Naomi is doing it"
"Nah" I brushed it off
"But....
"Clara please just forget about it" I didn't wanted to be reminded of Asher anymore
"Oh okay? So l would really like to stay but l have thing's to do " Clara said
"Erm did l just hear that correctly, you Clara have something to do" Naomi scoffed
"Yeah, strange right? But l do really have somewhere to be, so catch you guys later"
I nodded
"Alexia take care " she hugged me
"I think l'm gonna rest l'm still feeling kinda sleepy"
"Sure, remember l'm only one call away" Naomi said
I nodded
Immediately she was gone, l jumped out of bed oddly feeling way more better of course there was still the noise but it was bearable.
After showering l decided to take a walk with Snowy to understand more of this crazy abilities of mine but I suddenly heard footsteps from my porch downstairs even before the person could ring the bell
"Everything is now so weird and l don't like it one bit" I muttered
I opened the door to see a familiar face
"Dylan?"
"Hi Alexia"
"How did you find here" I raised a brow
"Ouch l was expecting a hug or something"
"Sorry to disappoint, you haven't answered me"
"I have my ways " he grinned
"Okay detective, excuse me" I said and started walking with snowy
"Hey wait up where are you going?"
"Nowhere just walking" I responded
Having enhance senses now, the world now looked more clearer and interesting
"Cute cat, what it's name"
"Is a fox and her name is snowy"
"Nice" I nodded
"So what brings you around my place"
"Nothing just wanted to see you after you basically ran away from me"
"Sorry about that"
He shrugged" I didn't hold any grudge"
We stopped at a park
"Don't you get tired of walking"Dylan called out while resting on a bench we had been walking for hours
"No not really" normally l should have been tired but it was barely a stretch but I rested for snowy sake
"So still won't tell me anything about you"
"Nope"
"You aren't like the other girls"
"Well sorry l'm not your typical kind of runway models"
"No you're way more special than them more natural"
"Yeah right how many girls have you told that to"
"None "
I rolled my eyes" yeah right"
"Is true"
"Ok whatever you say"
"Come on " he stood up
"Why?"
"I'm taking you to the mall"
"Why"
"Because I want to"
"Gifts don't work on me"
"That's not what l intend to do but it won't hurt to get some stuff"

We got to the mall but into the arcade section instead
"Seriously an arcade?"
"Yup"
"How old are you '5'
"You can never be too old to play a game, what do you say Alexia"
"Sure why not, snowy don't go anywhere ok?"
"You ready
"Game on"
I didn't know how long we spent in there but it was dark by the time we were done
"Ok Dylan, l better start going"
"Ah okay but promise we do this again sometime"
"Sure"
"Let me drop you off"
"Sure.... Where's snowy" I looked around but I couldn't see her, l didn't want to loose her, l have already grown too attached, l tried to concentrate and I could hear a distraught meow way over the other side of the mall
"Maybe she went for a little walk" Dylan joke
"I doubt that" I ran over to the noise l saw a stupid person creating a fuss over my cat
"Eww, who's strange creature is this,come take it away" poor snowy ran towards me and I held her in my arms
"What kind of animal treat you like this" I said coozing her
"Ugh l should have known it was you"
I looked up to see no other than Julia, l rolled my eyes
"Oh so you are the animal"
"Excuse me" she said
"Of course is only an animal that'll attack with no sense of rationality and no sense of humanity"
"How dare you"
"Oh the or so popular line of ' how dare you, do you know who I am, or do you know who my father is' seriously can't girls like you think of something more creative, you are getting boring by the day" her face turned red and l smirked
"I'm for sure going to make you regret it"
"Yeah l look forward to it"
"What's going on here?" Asher voice boomed l looked up at him and l wish l didn't cause l was stuck staring at him till that snake ran up to him and link her stupid arms around his that made me extra angry l feel like cutting her hands off
"She bullied me" she whined
I scoffed" of course why not hand it over to prince charming to settle it for you, puny" I said then walk away
"See she insulted me"
"Alexia!!" He called out
"Not being so formal anymore what now you want to scold me once more for her"
"Stop being so stubborn all the time"
"If anything you are the one stubborn, l won't stand here listening to you" then walk away
"Alexia l'm still talking"
"You don't own me Asher, oh and tell your dumb girlfriend to paws off my cat next time or she might as well loose it " I continued walking away " let's go Dylan"
30 minutes later we pulled up at my house, I didn't even know he brought his car before
"Thanks for the ride" I said and wanted to bolted inside
"Hey Alexia"
"Don't let them get to your head"
"Sure thanks for today"
"Your welcome"
"Not even a hug or a goodbye kiss"
"You wished, goodnight Dylan"
There's was someone inside my house immediately l entered a small kitchen knife came flying my way but I caught within seconds,Snowy got frightened and ran away
"Nice reflexes but there's still space to improve"
"What the hell Wyatt, is this how you are going to be popping up throwing things at me"
"I just wanted to check your reflexes seems like you have gotten use to enhanced senses"
"Tomorrow training starts"
"What training ?"
"To get used to your... other side, take this"
He gave me a pack of reddish liquid substance
"What is this?"
"Blood"
"Eww who's blood is this?"
"Relax is just factory blood enough to satisfy your thirst "
"I won't drink it"
"Suit yourself" he walked out
"See you at 5" he said
Drinking blood makes me feel like a monster, l hated it so l left it there and went to bed but in the middle of the night l kept tossing, the headaches were back and l couldn't breathe properly l was wheezing. I carefully made my way and took the pack then my fangs to rip it open and hungrily drank everything in the sachet before I remained calm that night l cried myself to sleep thinking of the monster l have become.
