CHAPTER THREE
ASHER P.O.V
*Two days earlier*
"One of our spy's has located weird activities happening in the cloud forest, something about a trio taking down some illegal businesses there, do you know anything about it " Allen barged into my office without even knocking and asking me questions
"I heard something like that not too long ago but that isn't any of my business, l'm not interested in some cat and dog fight, l have bigger things to worry about " l said
"Also l have been able to locate our sister " Allen said
Now that got my attention, my little sister have been missing for the 1 year after some silly fight with our parents, we have been trying to find her since but to no avail, l know she must have teamed up with someone because my sister wasn't that experience to hide with no trace there must be a mastermind behind and now finally l get to meet that person
"Ready our helicopter, we leave in two days time to where she is" l instructed
"Yes sir" Felix my assistant said
"Why don't we leave now? Is not l have any important thing to do"Allen said
"If you don't have something to do well l do, besides l didn't say you get to come with me" l said
"So what, you are gonna leave me behind?"
"Yes, if word gets out that l'm not in the city, you won't believe what can happen so l need you to fill my seat till then" l said
" But that's so boring, how can l just sit and do nothing but stare at the computer all day why do you think l avoid working " Allen whined
"It shouldn't be difficult for you since you do it all the time at home and when you are not at home you are at the club make yourself useful for a day" l said
"Fine" he finally caved in
"You can leave" l said and got back to working
"Aren't you gonna leave too?, is also midnight, l understand you are a bat but at least can't you feel some sympathy for your assistant that has to be with you around the clock, what if he has a family to get home to"Allen said
"I don't mind being with sir at this time, besides l have nobody waiting at home for me, thank you for your concern, Sir" my assistant said
Allen stared at both us dumbfounded then turned and said "suit yourselves"
"You can leave too, l'm not going home today" l said
Felix nodded and left, l eventually got up after 3 hours and walked to a door which leads to a room, l prepared this room for nights like this when l don't get to go home besides is also like home in a sense.
*The next morning*
"Ready the helicopter" l said
"Yes sir, umm... Sir??" Felix began
"What is it" I said impatiently
"Aren't you going with backup?" He Said
I scoffed"backup against my little sister, l thought you were suppose to be smart"l sneered
Fast forward to now to me holding my jaw in pain, how could a tiny person have so much strength. I just arrived landing the helicopter at the location Allen given,and breaking down the door, l was about to rush in and deal with whoever abducted my sister until a girl came grumbling down the stairs, l couldn't get a proper look at her Face because of all these mask girls wear for' healthy face' and other rubbish like that. The surprising thing is that she walked past me probably expecting who broke down her door will still be outside
"Which kind of maniac breaks down the door and disturb the peace of the morning" she yelled
"The kind of maniac that gets pissed when you abducted his sister" I said startling her
"Oh yeah, which sister? Look l don't know what you are talking about but let me tell you if you don't pay for the door and for our yard, you might get to see a crazy who didn't get her sleep" she threatened
"Oh yeah" l bent down to her level to get a proper look at a tiny person threatening to teach me a lesson quite amusing"make me"
Then l felt it, l didn't really expect she to have given me a punch, l actually lost my balance and fell. I was dumbfounded
"Wasn't expecting that huh"? She smirked
How could such tiny person have that much strength
"ALEXIA!!! I heard my sister voice call out
"What are you doing"Clara asked
"Showing him his place" That Alexia girl said proudly
I gritted my teeth, l will make sure this person pay for this with her life.
"He's my brother" Clara said
I could feel the way she stiffen, figures, after all who would wanna mess with me
"You mean he(pointing at me) is your brother"she asked
Now it was my turn to smirk
"Yh dummy, can't you see the resemblance"Clara said
"Well there's not really much to see, he's covered head to toe like a kidnapper, he even wears sunglasses in the morning and yet here l am being accused of being the kidnapper" she said
Well it was true l was dressed like a kidnapper, well the reason for that was simply because I was undercover here, l didn't want my rivals to know l was here hence the coverup and now this unnecessary distractions were wasting my time.
"Enough" I glared at the girl
"Take Clara home"l commanded walking off, l got other things to deal with
But l suddenly felt l was being watched, l turned around and looked at the mansion but there was nothing even the grumpy girl wasn't standing at the entrance anymore, so who could be watching me, ah l shrugged it off is probably nothing but my intuition are never wrong, hmmmm.
