Chapter 386 - Chapter 386 - Chaosmaker

Leyvi shot forward, legs bursting with Qi as he hopped straight toward the jungle.

It didn't take long for trouble to strike. Anda let out a startled yelp as she slipped from the invisible hand mid-hop, tumbling through the air before landing gracefully on her feet.

Leyvi frowned. His spiritual touch clearly wasn't stable yet. Using it while moving at high speed only made it easier to disperse. If this kept up, Anda would fall over and over again.

"We should stop," he said. "Looks like my spiritual touch needs more practice. I just acquired it, after all. I'll carry you in a princess carry for now. It's safer."

"No need." Anda crossed her arms and shook her head with a teasing grin. "Keep using your spiritual touch. I want the full Leyvi Express experience. Don't worry, I'm not some helpless panda. I can land gracefully even if I fall. Hehe."

Leyvi hesitated, glancing at her. "Are you sure about that? Look at your dress—it's already a mess." His eyes flicked to her chest area. One side of Anda's breast was practically spilling out.

Anda only smiled mischievously. "Husband, do I look sexy like this? Is it tempting?" She struck a few provocative poses as if showing off.

Leyvi rolled his eyes, already knowing where this was going. "Yes, yes. Very tempting. But let's save it for when we're back at the mansion."

With a resigned sigh, he gently adjusted her dress, tucking the soft mound back where it belonged.

Anda pouted dramatically. "It's not like we haven't done it out in the open before…"

"That was a special occasion. We can't do it often, or the magic will disappear," Leyvi said.

"Yes, yes. Then I'll wait for the next special occasion." Anda's smile was sweet enough to make his heart skip a beat.

Leyvi was speechless. Has my panda wife developed a liking for doing intimate things outdoors after that one time? But back then, she clearly didn't want anyone to see them. So she wants to do it in the open but doesn't want an audience… What do you even call that?

"Alright, husband, let's go. Don't worry about me," she said, hopping back into position. "Carrying me with spiritual touch counts as training, doesn't it? I won't be caught off guard like before. I'll land even more gracefully next time."

Leyvi smiled, shaking his head. "Fine, fine. If you're that confident, then Leyvi Express is back in service!"

Sure enough, the invisible grip unraveled a few more times along the way, and Anda took several falls. But each time, she landed without a scratch, smiling like it was all part of the ride.

After several more stops, they finally reached the jungle's edge. Leyvi lowered her gently and dispersed the spiritual touch, feeling the faint stirrings of progress within his control.

He realized something new. The mental energy required for his spiritual touch depended on the load of each action. The heavier the task, the more energy it consumes. And each time he formed a new invisible hand, it would consume more of his mental energy.

Meaning, to conserve a lot of mental energy, it was better for him to prevent his invisible hand from getting destroyed and continuously maintain its form if he wanted to use it for a prolonged time.

He had only used it for a few minutes to carry Anda, yet it already felt like he had burned through the same amount of focus needed for an hour of continuous spiritual sense. That was far more exhausting than he expected.

In a real fight, where everything would be faster and rougher, he might not even last half that time. The thought made him frown for a moment.

Still, Leyvi was not worried. Barbara had told him that this could be improved with training, and today had already proven her right. By improving efficiency, endurance, technique, and other aspects, he could reduce a lot of mental energy consumption and last longer.

When she said those words back then, he could not help but chuckle. It sounded almost like advice for something else entirely.

Pushing that thought aside, Leyvi turned his focus toward the jungle. He listened closely, and his ears caught something unusual in the distance.

"I knew it. Do you hear that, Anda?" he asked.

Anda tilted her head and blinked. "Why does it sound like chaos in there? It wasn't this noisy when we came to hunt that commander-level demonic beast last time. Look, some of the beasts are fleeing already."

"Why else? It's that chaos squirrel. She's a big troublemaker—no, a chaosmaker," Leyvi replied.

"Tantan? She have this kind of personality? What a unique squirrel." Anda looked genuinely surprised.

From what she had observed, Tantan had adopted the crown prince's arrogant demeanor, though she never dared to act like that in front of Anda. Still, Anda never expected such a small creature to have such a wild and destructive nature.

"It happened just as I expected," Leyvi said with a sigh, "but at least she didn't drag the pandas into her mess. They're just spectators, watching everything from the viewing screen. I guess she prefers causing chaos on her own."

Now that he thought about it, Tantan had never asked Dastan to do it for her. She only wants the mean to do it herself.

Through his spiritual sense, Leyvi could clearly see what was happening in the jungle, and the sight needed no explanation.

The Crown War Tank rolled forward like an unstoppable beast, slow but devastating, bulldozing through the dense jungle. When it reached a demonic beast's territory, the tank's gun roared, unleashing a devastating Qi cannon blast that tore through the area.

Tantan wasn't trying to kill them. No, this was pure chaos for chaos's sake. Her attacks enraged the territorial beasts, driving them into a frenzy. They retaliated with everything they had, but the tank's defenses were impenetrable. Claws, fangs, various attacks—all useless against the Crown War Tank.

She kept provoking them until they fled, abandoning their homes. But displaced beasts don't just wander aimlessly. To survive, they would take over another's territory, forcing its occupants to do the same.

In this way, Tantan's little game of eviction spiraled into a full-blown war. All across the jungle, demonic beasts clashed violently, strong against strong, while the weaker ones hid or fled in terror.

"Did something like this happen before?" Anda asked.

Leyvi nodded. "Yeah. She pulled the same stunt when we crossed the lake. She pitted the aquatic demonic beasts against each other."

"So you came to stop her?"

"Not really." Leyvi shook his head. "I just want to make sure the pandas are safe. What happens to the demonic beasts doesn't matter to me. Let's go get them before they get too used to her chaos."

Anda giggled. "Hehe. What's wrong with them being a little chaotic?"

Leyvi rolled his eyes. He wanted those pandas to return as adorable darlings of Bara City, not walking disasters. The last thing he needed was for the Leyan Family to earn a reputation for raising troublemakers.

He even considered adding something to the family motto. From Don't Be a Busybody to Don't Be a Busybody and Don't Cause Trouble. Honestly, it might be necessary, especially after Anda successfully recruited City Lord Caterina, who clearly had a taste for stirring trouble.

With that thought, Leyvi stepped into the jungle, Anda following close behind. This time, he used his invisible hand to clear a path through the thicker undergrowth.

The jungle was in complete disarray. Trees had been uprooted and crushed into splinters, claw marks scarred the trunks, and patches of soil were gouged out like craters. The air was thick with the stench of blood and crushed vegetation. Angry roars echoed in every direction, overlapping with the sound of snapping branches and pounding footsteps.

As they moved deeper, they saw a demonic wolf limping past, its fur streaked with fresh wounds, eyes wild with rage. A flock of blood-feathered birds burst from the canopy, screeching as if fleeing death itself. Moments later, a massive boar crashed through a thicket ahead, tusks dripping with gore, only to be slapped aside by Leyvi's invisible hand. The invisible hand shattered instantly, forcing him to reform it again.

This scene repeated again and again. Each time a beast lunged at them, Leyvi sent it flying, but every clash drained a little more of his mental energy. It wasn't dangerous for him, but it was a little exhausting.

But it was fine. If his mental energy dropped too low, he would simply stop using the invisible hand and switch to martial skills, giving himself time to recover.

In the distance, a deep boom ripped through the jungle, shaking the ground beneath their feet. A split second later, a roar filled with fury answered the explosion, echoing like a storm rolling through the trees.

"Dii hihihi!" Tantan's gleeful laughter spilled from the Crown War Tank as another massive demonic beast fled its shattered territory, leaving chaos in its wake.
