Chapter 4282 - 4282

Chapter 4282: Not Truly Invincible

Like a breeze of thought, Lin Moyu clearly felt the other party's presence it swept through the entire domain and finally settled upon him.

No one else in the entire domain knew it, but he knew: the will of a supreme existence had descended!

Lin Moyu understood well that, under normal circumstances, he shouldn't even be able to sense this presence. But due to some special reasons, he could.

That will was now examining him from the inside out.

The World Tree ceased its swaying, and Chaos Seed immediately dove into the chaos, vanishing.

The Ferry of Tribulation was stashed into storage space, and Lin Moyu kept his soul calm, acting as though nothing had happened.

He sat with eyes closed, as if simply feeling the changes from just breaking through into the Chaos Realm.

If there was any flaw in this disguise, it was that he had already completed partial chaotification.

Chaos Seed did its best to help Lin Moyu maintain the ruse. It wasn't strange for someone to complete partial chaotification right after entering the Chaos Realm; such cases occurred even in chaos.

That presence scanned him once more, and Lin Moyu suddenly felt the aura of time.

It was checking his timeline his past.

This inspection was extremely domineering; even the Lord of Time could not block it.

But Lin Moyu wasn't worried in the least his timeline had long ago been tampered with.

The Spirit of the River of Time had told him, even before becoming Lord of Time, that someone had altered his past.

He didn't need to guess those capable of doing this were either the green robed elder or the white robed elder.

Just like how, in the small world, the Discernment Beast knew nothing of what occurred inside, the two elders had anticipated this very scene and prepared for it.

After a brief churn, the currents of time went calm, and that supreme will gradually faded.

Lin Moyu didn't relax his guard; he waited a full two days before gradually easing up.

"So that was the Dao?" He dared not say aloud could only think it.

He knew the answer: it was the Dao.

When the Dao's will descended, Lin Moyu had felt its overwhelming might lofty beyond imagining, gazing down upon all living things.

If it wished to kill him, no hands would need to be raised a mere thought could smash him to pieces, annihilating him utterly.

No spell, no talent could change that.

With just a single thought, it could turn the entire domain against him, stripping him instantly of his title as domain lord.

In that instant, even he had felt a pang of hopelessness. Could someone so strong truly be someone he could oppose?

All his plans, all his layout before absolute strength, they felt like a joke.

For a fleeting second, he had even thought of giving up, thinking a normal life as an ordinary cultivator might be best, without challenging the Dao's authority.

That oppressive weight crushed against his Dao Heart.

But thankfully, he endured; the thought passed as quickly as it had come and was erased.

A small hole appeared in his soul world Chaos Seed poked its head out nervously and asked, "He's gone, right?"

Looking at its expression, Lin Moyu found some humor. "You're that afraid of him?"

The big head looked left and right, and once sure all was safe, returned fully to the soul world. "Not fear just not wanting to be noticed by him."

"If he found you, what would he do?" Lin Moyu asked.

Chaos Seed shook its head. "Don't know my memory isn't complete. But it wouldn't be good, that's for sure."

"Then tell me what you do remember," Lin Moyu said.

Chaos Seed replied, "I vaguely know that he's always wanted to have me even seemed to have me once, but for some reason later lost me."

Incomplete memory kept Chaos Seed from explaining fully, but the information still set Lin Moyu's thoughts spinning.

The Dao wanted Chaos Seed, had once had it, but lost it again.

What was so special that even such an existence coveted it?

His thoughts turned instinctively to Chaos Seed's true form the Chaos Pearl.

The Chaos Pearl contained a self sustaining chaos could that be the reason?

If the Dao had once possessed it, how had it been lost? Only one answer fit the Catastrophic Supreme.

If so, then back then the Catastrophic Supreme wasn't completely helpless. The scene Lin Moyu had seen, of the Supreme being instantly slain by the Dao, might not have been the whole truth.

A flash of insight struck him his earlier assumptions had been wrong.

If the Catastrophic Supreme had truly been incapable of resisting, how could he have set up such elaborate schemes?

How could the green robed elder, white robed elder, and Heavenly Void Son have dared to work with him?

Not on hot blooded impulse, surely at their level, "fighting spirit" alone was laughable.

They must have had some chance, some leverage, before acting.

Suddenly, Lin Moyu felt a surge of confidence. The lofty Dao was not invincible he absolutely had a chance.

"Does he examine all Chaos Realm beings?" he asked.

Chaos Seed nodded. "Seems like it."

"So he's looking for something… In chaos, aren't you afraid of being found?" Lin Moyu said.

"Don't worry," Chaos Seed grinned. "As long as I'm in chaos, he can't find me."

It seemed confident; and indeed, if it were easy to find, it would've been caught already.

This proved the Dao was not all knowing not quite as perfect as Lin Moyu had imagined.

He let the thought go. It was too soon to dwell on the Dao; better to focus on himself.

With his smooth breakthrough to Chaos Realm, all his arts had changed. "Time for you to work," he said to Chaos Seed.

"Let's get to it! This last fusion has to succeed!" said Chaos Seed.

"What arts are we melding this time?" Lin Moyu asked.

In his cultivation so far, from awakening skills one by one to painstakingly elevating them to arts, each had reached perfection.

At most, he'd held close to thirty main arts. Later, many were merged together, leaving far fewer.

His only passive art now was "Domain" using his own domain to weaken and spread out all attacks. As his sole defensive art, it wouldn't be touched.

Infinite Summon had reached chaotic level, formed from multiple arts unlikely to be altered.

Gathering Force and Strong Troops, both from refining original beast blood, had unique uses whether they'd be merged wasn't certain.

That left Summon Elemental Lich, Bone Hell, Corpse Explosion, and Wings of the Time Curse.

Bone Hell was now entwined with the World Tree, serving as the Vast World's reincarnation cycle almost certain to remain unchanged.

For the moment, Lin Moyu couldn't think of what else could be fused.

Clearly, Chaos Seed had its own ideas it shouted, "Here we go!"
