Whoopsie, got a bit sidequested there. I started playing FF7 Remake and Rebirth, and the next thing I knew three weeks had passed. I tend to get hyperfixated on stuff from time to time, and this was one of those times.
Anyways, I had some time to think, and I have come to a decision. I don't like having my stories unfinished. And as the end of the year draws closer, I want to finish tying up some loose ends so I can dedicate my full attention to each story.
So here is my current order of operations.
Finish volume one of the Marvel fic. There are only like five to seven chapters left or so, so I want to focus on that since it is the closest to completion.
Then, fully focus on my Persona 5 fic, and complete it. Just fully dedicate myself to it, and then be able to progress without having to waste time refamiliarising myself with the story.
Finally, once my Persona 5 fic is completed, return to Tensura and finish it.
Honestly, the biggest burden I found myself with was being in such pivotal places in each story, and not being able to fully dedicate myself and lock in on one story to write nonstop, and that was causing me to not be as consistent with my writing.
Hell, every single time I found myself in a pivotal spot in any of my stories I would find myself experiencing a bit of writer's block, just because I wanted to work on all of them, but then at the same time I couldn't.
I know it sucks to have to wait, especially when the uploads have been so inconsistent this year. But if I really want to be able to commit myself to writing I need to start by just focusing on one thing at a time, and I won't be able to do so until I have finished Persona.
So, for Tensura readers. My best guess as to when the story will continue is January or February. And for my Marvel readers, my best guess is probably the middle of next year.
For the Marvel story, I plan on fully revisiting Volume 1 and editing and enhancing it to trim some of the fat off from it and help streamline/improve it for a better reader experience.
For Tensura, I plan to write a proper, non brainrot recap of the story for those who want to just hop back in. If any of you have read High Tide by Tertius711, it will be like his recap chapters, so seeming more like a historical event/historian pov. A good example would be the way King of Knights is written.
