I'm not a David fan or anything, but my sister and fiance are, so I hear something's about him; so I would like to ask this, what tf is even happening?
And from everything I know, how is he not getting arrested, or even charged yet?

Since Ash had won all three of his doubles matches in the preliminary tournament, that meant that he had successfully advanced to the main tournament, the real Ever Grande Conference!
"I always knew that Big Brother is the strongest!" In Molly's mind, it was obvious that Ash has always been the most powerful since he had never lost a match, not to mention that he also commanded powerful Legendary Pokémon's. Now she was living her dream by getting new friends and playing with Ralts and Growlithe.
As for Togetic, they were already good playmates since they traveled around the Johto Region together, and now even though she had evolved, she still got along just fine.
Before the start of the final tournament, Ash had only one day to rest. Of course, Ash spent this precious day spending time with the people he was close to.
Ash has been traveling since he got Pikachu a few years ago, and since then, even when he returned home to his mom, he only stayed for a few days before he went off to another new region to feel challenged.
He also felt that this is only right, for making up for the past Luke where he didn't have this luxury.
Now that his mother is here, of course Ash wants to spend time with her, feel her maternal love.
Additionally, he also had some of his lovers here, and it would be a shame if he didn't spend some time with them on some dates.

"Holders of testosterone and estrogen, I welcome you all to this year's Hoenn Region Ever Grande Conference, the final main tournament you all have been waiting for is finally about to begin!" After entering the finals tournament, the theme music began to pop up in everyone's ears, especially the main event at the main venue!
"There are a total of 32 Trainers who are about to compete in this grand stadium. Which one amongst them will stand at the top over all others?"
The first match of the tournament just happened to be one of Ash's battles. Standing on the battlefield, hearing the commentator say this, Ash smiled confidently, he was determined to win his second Regional Championship.
At this moment, across various places, all of Ash's family and friends were paying their utmost attention to his match.
Inside of the Cerulean City Gym in the Kanto Region, Misty had closed her Gym for the season, as this year's Indigo Plateau Conference was also about to start soon.
However, the deadline for the season had still crossed into a time where she couldn't go and cheer for her boyfriend, "Ah I'm so jealous of Molly, she ran off to Hoenn while here I'm stuck watching it on the TV! Why are they always on cruises?!"
She began complaining about how her sisters are never here to help her and always on some cruise ships, though no one was here to care about what she was saying.

"The next rounds all involve a full battle, meaning each Trainer is going to use six Pokémon! Additionally, their Pokémon's can be changed freely along the way. And the last new thing, the battlefield is now divided into four distinct zones: Grass, Rock, Water and Ice…"
Just like the Indigo Plateau League and the Silver Conference, there will be different types of battle venues for the real tournament, which are all determined by a wheel, all luck and no skill.
So if some random Fire-type specialist draws the Water venue, then 9 out of 10 times, they are getting cooked (or flooded in this case).
Therefore, for most Trainers, when choosing the Pokémon that you have logged in to use at the beginning, they must take all factors into consideration to avoid falling into a passive situation and getting their asses handed to them.
"Now let's take a look at the battle venue for the first half... oh, it's the Rock venue!" The moment the roulette wheel stopped, the battle field in front of Ash was opened, and a jagged, stone battle field rose up from below.
"Then let's start now, the first round of competition between the already renowned Trainer Ash and the newly emerging genius, Trainer Katie!"
In the first round of the tournament, Ash's opponent was a beautiful young girl.
"I wonder what kind of Pokémon she's going to use?" Although Ash believed that it's good to have some information about your opponent in advance, as only by knowing yourself and your enemy do you have the higher chance to win the battle, there was a little problem.
Ash has been accompanying his girlfriends all day and had not had the time to collect information at all, and although the smart ones didn't have much on her, someone did.
"This is my perfect opportunity! In this record of mine, I have everything you need!" Brock took out a small notebook out of nowhere, "I have recorded all the information about every beautiful girl in this tournament!"
In the eyes of everyone looking at him expectantly, Brock said with pure confidence, "Miss Katie is from Lilycove City. She is known as the 'Cool Beauty.' Her hobby is playing the clarinet. Her favorite dish is spicy spaghetti with Tomato Berries!"
And then he continued to talk more about her and not her Pokémon, so May got annoyed and shut him down.
"Man, I really go for some spicy spaghetti with a side of Sitrus Berries!!" Morrison immediately got hungry thinking of what Brock just said a second ago.
"Yeah, we can tell…" Gary and Max said with their mixed condescending voices.
But Morrison just laughed it off, in his own words, "If you can't even take something like that from a friend, how sensitive can you get?"
However, Katie soon made Brock and the others understand that her title of "Cool Beauty" was not just because she was cool and beautiful, but also because of her cold fighting style, literally.

"Stand by for battle, Torkoal!" Ash decided to be a gentleman and was the first one to send out his Pokémon, his Torkoal, who was somehow so moved that he released another puff of smoke and tears.
"Okay, okay, I know you're very happy, but it's time for you to impress all the female Torkoal huzz out there!" Ash waved his hand to disperse the smoke and looked at his confident opponent.
"Ash, I have heard about you for a long time, and it's my pleasure to finally battle you! So don't hold back! Go, Venomoth!" Katie's words made Ash happy, but her decision made him show a clear puzzled expression.
Facing his Fire-type Torkoal, she actually sent out the Bug-type Venomoth. That's only something he only saw himself do, and that was only because he was confident in his own strength, but even he doesn't go into such battles without a clear grasp of his tactics:
"Venomoth, use Stun Spore!" And sure enough like Ash thought, Katie sent out her Venomoth to battle to most likely cause some early status problems.
But such tactics were something that Ash didn't want to face right now, it would simply waste too much time for him when he could be doing other things.
"Flamethrower!" Facing the Stun Spore blowing over, Ash launched a decisive counterattack to deal with the annoying powders.
"Quickly avoid it!" The hot incoming pillar of fire burned all the Stun Spores powder but Venomoth barely dodged in time and thus was allowed to battle for another turn. And the so-called "Cool Beauty" Katie took action to deal with this great threat, "Venomoth, use Disable on Torkoal's Flamethrower!"
This now means that Torkoal will no longer be able to use its Flamethrower attack for the duration that it's in battle.
However, Ash didn't look like he cared about this at all, which he honestly didn't. Torkoal, as a pure Fire-type Pokémon, has a lot of Fire-type skills, some of whom were even stronger than Flamethrower.
"Lava Plume!"
Torkoal also looked to be completely unaffected by Disable, so he just went with the flow. His hard turtle shell flashed with a bright red light, and immediately, scorching lava and smoke spread out of. This was one of its favorite attacking skills. While Venomoth was nimble because of its ability to fly, it wasn't fast enough to avoid all of it, so it took massive amounts of damage before it could even dish out some of its own attacks.
"Come back, Venomoth!" Seeing that her Venomoth was about to go down for the battle, Katie took back Venomoth to save it just in case of emergency, but knowing that it could most likely not battle anymore.
Her real purpose for sending out Venomoth despite its weakness was for the same reason Ash hypothesized, for using its Imprison skill and other powder moves to be a nuisance above all other things.
But it seemed that she simply ignored the fact that Ash's Pokémon were all of a higher level, so the gap between the two parties was immense. In front of Ash, such little cleverness and tricks were as effective as Diddy being sentenced to jail for 4 years and 2 months.
So she changed her tactics to a more effective one: "Go ahead, Golduck!"
This time she went with the obvious type advantage. Golduck, who has a Water-type and a pseudo Psychic-type, of course had more of a fighting chance against Torkoal than its partner had, but against a type his Pokémon's were weak against has long been Ash's specialty, something he excelled in.
"Golduck, use Hydro Pump!"
It was a natural Water-type attack it could learn, and it is also one of the strongest ones among the large number of Water-type skills.
"Inferno!"
BEHIAHAJAK!
Torkoal's body makes a sound similar to that of a roaring steam train.
It is the sound of the coal in its body burning crazily and turning into pure energy, heat for its attack.
The violent fire energy flowed from the turtle shell on his back into the ground along his pillar-like four legs.
What happened next was akin to that of a volcano appearing because an Entei just randomly barked, the rugged rocky environment on the Rock venue was moving and glowing red at a speed visible to the naked eye, it was a sign that soon everything would turn into lava soon.
BoOm!
Despite all this, Golduck managed to make its Hydro Pump hit Torkoal, which was indeed a super effective blow.
However, the terrifying flames of Inferno erupted at Golduck's feet, swallowing him up, and the power behind Hydro Pump came to an abrupt end.
"What great power! Ash's Torkoal's Inferno is running rampant! Despite being a Water-type Pokémon, Golduck just might not be able to survive this attack!" The commentator could clearly see what was happening. Despite Fire-based skills not being very effective against Water-type Pokémon's, it didn't mean that they were ineffective.
Coupled with the level gap between the two sides, this Golduck was probably going to turn into a real roast, golden duck.
"Golduck loses its ability to fight, meaning Torkoal wins this battle!" The referee immediately announced Golduck's defeat to get it immediately sent to the Pokémon Center for healing.
With this, Ash got a good start, technically defeating his first Pokémon in the real Ever Grande Conference!
"Golduck, come back! You did well, now leave it to our friends and go rest." Katie could be seen trembling all over at this moment after sending Golduck away. Ash's strength made her feel desperate, but she still mustered up the courage to go all out like she promised herself and Ash.
"Come on, Walrein!"
