Their next destination was an impressive house tucked away between rows of houses. It was all on Nikolai's turf. They could live anywhere, but a Mafia King had to live on his turf, it was expected.
The house itself was impressive, but it was in a gated community, which meant that the fence of the house itself was pretty low. When Angelo was thinking 'normal', he wasn't thinking this normal.
"Maybe somewhere a little more secluded?" He suggested as they walked around the small yard space, "Or do you prefer living next to others?" He asked curiously, remembering that his first rooftop apartment had been in a residential complex.
Nikolai's brows furrowed. It wasn't a preference, he just hadn't given it much thought. He had always been alone, so there was no reason to consider most things. Even though his dad had a proper mansion befitting a Mafia King, Nikolai had spent most of his life in a box or a small bare room, he had no connection to the house.
