Rae bit back a smile, knowing that making that expression would likely get his head blown off, but he really liked Jael saying his name.
He wouldn't mind Jael killing him, but he would rather spend more time around him than die by his hand.
He also had to bite back his reflexive answer of 'you'. The Mafia King's right-hand man wouldn't appreciate that.
Right then, he was a dangerous stranger with an unknown goal. He was no different to Jael than the former members of his gang, and he could be disposed of just as quickly.
"Nothing really," He muttered, looking away. "You don't remember me, but a couple of years back, you saved me from a prostitution ring. I just wanted to say thanks." He strung up a jumbled sentence.
Jael's hold on his gun faltered, that was the last thing he had been expecting to hear. "What?"
"Madam Francesca's orphanage? She used the orphanage as a cover for a prostitution ring. You rescued us."
