Silvia snagged up the sweetsmelling package of pastries and headed inside alone. Cain was welcome to join them but the Alpha preferred the solitude of his room.
She expected to find Angelo in his room so it took her a moment to notice that he was seated in the living room. She paused, a smile blooming on her face.
"Angelo, you came out of your room."
Angelo's pale green eyes were fixed on the colorful bag in her hand. He hadn't just come out because of the pastries she always got for him, but after Silvia left he got to thinking.
He didn't have to outrightly ask, there were other ways of finding out information. "Did you have something important to discuss with Mafia King Asher?" He asked seriously but the tone didn't match the impatient look he had on as he stared at the bag of pastries.
