Chapter 106 - Recruitment? No! Hulk Smash You!

Of course, Hulk didn't know the "Rising Dragon Fist," unless Qi Jun created a skill book for him. But seeing Hulk's spinning move, which looked more like a thousand years of death, Qi Jun decided it was getting out of hand and kicked Hulk away.

Boom! Another sonic boom echoed, and the onlookers watched in awe as the now even bigger and more intimidating green monster was sent flying out of the city by a single kick from Qi Jun, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Before the stunned crowd could calm down, another sonic boom sounded.

Boom! The crowd saw the hero who had saved them, flying away at a speed even faster than the green monster he had kicked. The direction indicated he was going to continue dealing with the green monster.

"Superhero! He drove the monster out of the city. He's our superhero!"

Suddenly, someone in the crowd shouted.

The crowd quickly echoed the sentiment, "That's right! He's our hero! He is... a superhero!"

"The military is useless! We need superheroes to protect us!"

"Yeah! The military is garbage!"

"And seeing how familiar the military is with that green monster, it's probably their creation!"

"In the end, our superhero had to save the day. The military is just... worthless!"

"Hey! We also have Iron Man! He may have been late, but he's our superhero too!"

"Right! Iron Man is also a superhero!"

The angry crowd shouted, venting their frustration. The sight of the rampaging green monster had terrified them.

The military was the biggest loser in the Hulk capture operation, while Qi Jun, who had just appeared, won the people's approval as the hero who subdued the green monster and saved everyone.

"Bastard! Useless!"

Like the crowd, General Ross was furious, but his anger stemmed from his subordinates' incompetence, the Hulk's strength, and the mysterious "superhero" who had intervened. Ross didn't know Qi Jun. Although the instruments couldn't capture Qi Jun's image, Ross was sure he didn't know him.

In fact, after liaising with top Pentagon officials and military leaders, Qi Jun had long forgotten Ross. If it weren't for Bruce Banner, Qi Jun would have completely forgotten about Ross.

"What do we do now, General?"

Seeing the General's fury, his adjutant hesitated to interrupt but knew someone needed to take responsibility for this disastrous operation. The sight of the crowd slowly surrounding them added to the urgency.

"What else can we do? Call the cleanup crew and let's get out of here!"

Despite his anger, Ross knew they couldn't stay. The crowd, chanting slogans and closing in, was too much.

"Where's Emil Blonsky?"

As the vehicles turned back to the base, Ross asked his adjutant.

"He was slapped by the green monster into a nearby mall. Our men checked; he has multiple fractures, and he's barely alive," the adjutant reported truthfully, surprised that Ross was still thinking about Blonsky.

"Bring him... Never mind, let's go!"

Ross initially wanted to have Blonsky brought back, but realizing his own position was precarious and a dismissal order was likely waiting, he gave up. Bringing Blonsky back would only benefit other generals, who wouldn't acknowledge Ross's efforts.

Poor Emil Blonsky was abandoned by Ross. If it weren't for Tony Stark receiving a message from Taibai, Blonsky might have died unnoticed.

Meanwhile, Tony Stark, not following Qi Jun, remained in disbelief.

"Jarvis, are you saying that even if Qi Jun stands right in front of you, you can't scan him? How did you detect him in the desert before?"

After a moment of shock, Stark regained his composure and asked.

"Perhaps Qi Jun can control this state, allowing himself to be detected or not at will," Jarvis suggested based on data analysis.

"Well, that's somewhat acceptable."

Stark raised an eyebrow, "Alright, time to save people. We'll discuss this later."

...

Elsewhere, in a deserted area outside New York, a loud crash was heard as the thrice-transformed Hulk hit the ground headfirst, carving a long, deep trench.

Boom! Another sonic boom sounded and quickly faded. It was Qi Jun, defying inertia, stopping abruptly, hovering above, and looking down at the trench Hulk had created.

"Hulk, join me, and you'll have everything you want."

Seeing the enraged Hulk climbing out and glaring at him, Qi Jun smiled and tried to recruit him.

"Hulk smash you!"

With a roar, Hulk expressed his disdain! He crouched, leaped, and prepared another thousand years of death move.

"Alright, looks like you need to be taught a lesson first."

Sighing and shaking his head, Qi Jun used a teleportation skill to appear beside Hulk.

Not giving Hulk any time to react, Qi Jun delivered a whip kick!

Boom!!!
