The day was dedicated to filming. Lin Feng sat on a stool nearby, bag slung over his shoulder, observing the children as they followed the director's instructions.
Among the six children, Xiao Bao stood out with her appearance and charisma. Her bright smile, full of childlike sunshine and innocence, was incredibly healing to watch. The children with acting experience performed somewhat better than the novices. The director was not satisfied even after they repeated their few lines many times, which made the inexperienced kids visibly embarrassed.
After the adults finished shooting their individual scenes, it was time to film with the children. The morning seemed to pass without much getting done. For lunch, they had boxed meals that were just so-so.
Xiao Bao, a picky eater, took a few bites and then stopped. "Daddy, I want to eat something else."
Lin Feng asked, "What would you like to eat?"
