As soon as they entered the living room, Wei Hongyan couldn't wait to say, "My mom told me your fiancé is incredibly handsome. Tell me, how did you meet?"
Yunyi saw her eager face but, considering Huo Jingrui's special identity, replied half-truthfully, "We met through friends; it was love at first sight for us."
Wei Hongyan exclaimed, "Ah, love at first sight?"
What followed was full of envy.
Yunyi quickly changed the subject. "Tell me about your guy. How did you two meet?"
Wei Hongyan, with the conversation turning back to her, blushed even more. "It was one of the aunties at work who introduced us; we haven't been dating for very long."
What Wei Hongyan didn't say was that both sets of parents were very pleased. As long as they got along, the marriage was almost certain.
Seeing no other activity in the yard, Yunyi asked, "Your eldest brother and sister-in-law haven't gotten off work and come back yet?"
