The front gate hadn't been securely closed and was just wide enough for her to slip through. Seeing this, Yunyi abandoned the idea of scaling the courtyard wall and moving across the rooftops.
She deftly entered the yard and headed straight for the illuminated room. Inside, she heard someone saying, "If they're eating meat, we brothers should at least get to sip some soup. It's getting late. Let's take the things and head back early. Everyone needs to stay alert these next few days."
Hearing that the people inside were about to leave, Yunyi instantly flashed into her space.
Once it was quiet outside, Yunyi emerged again, only to hear someone inside ask, "Have the guys who went out to handle things for Brother Du returned yet?"
"Not yet. But it's just dealing with a snot-nosed brat; what's there for the boss to worry about?"
