Chapter 5 - The Training Begins!

Luke woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside his window. The sunlight streamed in, casting a warm glow over the small, sparse room he had called home for the past few weeks. He stretched, feeling the soreness in his muscles from the encounter with Anakiss. The events of the previous night were still fresh in his mind, and he knew he had a long way to go.

Yoji was already up, sitting at the table with a map of Tokyo spread out in front of him. "Morning," he said without looking up.

"Morning," Luke replied, heading to the small kitchen area to grab some water. "What's the plan for today?"

Yoji looked up, his eyes serious. "Today, we start your training. You need to learn how to control your abilities and build your strength. If you're going to face Anakiss again, you need to be ready."

Luke nodded, feeling a mix of anxiety and determination. "Where do we start?"

"First, we need to find a suitable training ground," Yoji said. "Somewhere secluded where we won't be disturbed."

They quickly ate breakfast and gathered their things. Yoji led Luke to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. The place was spacious and isolated, perfect for what they needed.

"Alright, Luke," Yoji said, turning to face him. "The first thing you need to understand is your own limits. We're going to push you hard, but it's necessary. Start with some basic exercises to warm up."

Luke began with stretches and basic calisthenics, feeling his muscles loosen up. Yoji watched him closely, occasionally offering tips and corrections. After a while, Yoji called him over.

"Now, let's test your strength and speed," Yoji said, setting up a series of targets. "Try to hit these as fast and as hard as you can."

Luke focused, channeling his energy. He struck the targets with all his might, feeling the power surge through his body. Each punch and kick was faster and more powerful than anything he had done before. Yoji nodded in approval.

"Good," Yoji said. "But it's not just about raw power. You need to be able to control it, direct it. Try again, but this time, focus on precision."

Luke took a deep breath and tried again, this time aiming more carefully. His strikes were more accurate, hitting the targets dead center. Yoji smiled.

"Better. Now, let's move on to your abilities. You need to understand what you can do and how to use it effectively."

For the rest of the day, Yoji guided Luke through various exercises and drills, helping him discover and hone his abilities. They practiced until the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the warehouse floor.

"That's enough for today," Yoji said, clapping Luke on the shoulder. "You've done well. But remember, this is just the beginning. We have a lot of work ahead of us."

Luke nodded, exhausted but satisfied. He could feel the difference already. He was stronger, faster, and more in control. As they headed back to their temporary home, Luke felt a renewed sense of purpose.

"Tomorrow, we'll continue," Yoji said. "But for now, rest. You'll need your energy."

Luke lay down, feeling the day's exertion catch up with him. He closed his eyes, his mind racing with everything he had learned. He knew the road ahead would be tough, but he was ready to face it.

The Next Day

Luke woke up feeling sore but determined. Yoji was already up, as usual, going over their plan.

"Today, we push harder," Yoji said, a determined look in his eyes. "Are you ready?"

Luke nodded, feeling a mix of anxiety and excitement. "Yeah. Let's do this."

They spent the day training intensively, with Yoji pushing Luke to his limits and beyond. Each session was tougher than the last, but Luke could feel himself getting stronger, more capable. He was starting to understand his abilities and how to control them.

By the end of the day, Luke was exhausted but more confident. He knew he still had a long way to go, but he was making progress. As he lay down to sleep, he felt a sense of accomplishment and determination.

He was ready to face whatever came next. And he knew that, with Yoji's guidance, he would be ready to face Anakiss and whatever other challenges lay ahead.
