Ji Eun's hands found his chest, meaning to shove but somehow ending with her fists curled in the fabric of his shirt. The contradiction made her want to weep with rage.
Then...Hyun Woo's patience broke.
His mouth crashed against hers—not gentle, not questioning, but claiming. Ji Eun made a sound in her throat, half protest, half surrender, and then she was kissing him back with a ferocity that shocked them both. His hands moved to her hips, lifting her slightly, pressing her harder against the stone as his body aligned with hers.
He broke the kiss to trail his mouth down her throat, teeth grazing the pulse point where her heart hammered wildly. His hands roamed upward, thumbs brushing the underside of her breasts through the silk, and Ji Eun's head fell back, her fingers tangling in his hair, holding him there even as some distant part of her screamed warnings.
"Tell me to stop," he commanded against her skin, his breath hot. "Say it like you mean it, and I'll stop."
But she couldn't. The words wouldn't form. She was dissolving, melting into the heat. When his hand slipped lower, finding the tip of her gown, sliding underneath to touch her bare skin, she gasped achingly.
Hyun Woo's eyes darkened further with desire. "Ji Eun," he breathed.
