Chapter 67 - The Truth Behind the Tradition

It was an afternoon no one in the Song family ever forgot. Not because of grandeur. Not because of ceremony. But because of the impossibility that walked through their doors. Park Hyun Woo was only ten.

Too young.

Far too young to stand in a room filled with power and speak as though he belonged among it.

Yet...

He did.

The Song estate was as imposing then as it was now, with high ceilings, vast corridors, silence that carried authority. Song Minkyu had been in his study when the guards informed him:

"A boy is insisting on seeing you, Sir… he refuses to leave."

At first, Minkyu had dismissed it. Children from prominent families sometimes acted entitled, occasionally reckless.

But this....

This was different.

"Does he have a name?" Minkyu had asked.

The guard hesitated.

"…Park Hyun Woo."

That name meant nothing then.

No weight.

No influence.

Minkyu almost didn't see him.

But something...something about the way the boy refused to leave - piqued his curiosity.

So he allowed it.
