"What does 'Qinsura' mean?" Alexa asked, glancing at the others, who shared her confusion. She quickly pulled out her book and scrolled through it, searching for the word, but it wasn't there. "I've read many books multiple times, but I've never come across that name before."
The young boy pointed at Aiden, and Alexa followed his gaze, her eyes widening in surprise. "Aiden?" Aiden didn't respond, his blue eyes fixed intently on the black-haired boy. Alexa noticed the change in Aiden's eyes and wondered if this was his evolved form.
"What does the name Qinsura have to do with Aiden?" Fredrick asked, gripping his ice spear tightly. The young boy's response was cold: "I don't talk to useless people."
Before Fredrick could react, the black-haired boy vanished and reappeared behind Aiden, his hands poised to strike. Aiden swiftly drew a dagger, blocking the attack, but it cracked under the force. The boy backed off, his fingers dancing across the ground, creating a small crater that burst with purple energy.
"That was quick. I wasn't even fast enough to react, but Aiden was," Alexa said, her eyes wide with surprise. Aiden's gaze lingered on the purple energy spreading through the crater. "It's similar to those creatures," he muttered, his fists clenched.
Fredrick rotated his ice spear, adopting a fighting stance. "I see, a person who doesn't talk much and is rude at that," he said, his breath misting in the cold air as he focused on the black-haired boy.
"Figure out his evolved type, Alexa and Rhea, while I deal with him."
"I already did," Aiden said, earning a side-eye from Fredrick, who remained concentrated on their opponent. "What is it, then?" Rhea asked, but before Aiden could respond, the black-haired boy reappeared behind him.
Fredrick swiftly blocked the boy's attack with his ice spear. The boy backed off, swiping his fingers to unleash an invisible force that slashed through the air. The group barely dodged, creating distance between themselves and the boy.
"Is everyone alright?" Fredrick asked, and Rhea, Aiden, and Alexa nodded. Cedric raised his bleeding left hand, but smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, I can heal."
The group exhaled in relief. "What was that?" Alexa asked, still trying to process the attack she hadn't seen but had managed to dodge.
"It's like an invincible thread that can slash through almost anything," Aiden explained. "And he can create a needle-like weapon from his fingers."
"Wait, what do you mean by needle-like weapon?" Sera's curiosity got the better of her.
Shinra didn't let her wait long, pointing a finger at Aiden and firing a glowing purple needle at his head. Aiden dodged just in time, and the needle exploded into purple energy.
"That," Aiden said, his eyes still fixed on Shinra. Shinra's gaze lingered on Aiden before he spoke, "Your eyes are a problem. My name is Shinra, the seventh shadow."
Alexa's eyes widened as a realization hit her. "Wait, does that mean Aiden can tell people's evolved type just by looking at them?" The others looked surprised, and Fredrick's thoughts turned tactical. "If that's the case, it's useful."
"Use the tier meter and check his power level." Aiden said to Cedric, who nodded in response. He pointed it towards Shinra, who tilted his head trying to figure out what the object was.
"He... He is C rank." Cedric said slowly.
"With the three of us together, we can take him. Cedric and Aiden, find a place to hide." Alexa said with a serious expression.
"No, I'm fighting, and I have a lot of questions to ask him." Aiden said as he walked past Alexa, who quickly blocked his way.
"You have an evolved type that is not suited for battle. Your current combat skills are low compared to the three of us. What makes you think you have a chance against a C rank? Do you know what a C rank is?" Alexa said.
Aiden gritted his teeth in anger, "Shut up!" Aiden shouted as blue sparks appeared in his body.
Alexa gasped immediately she saw the spark. Fredrick widened his eyes in surprise. Rhea was also surprised by the spark that came out of Aiden's body. "Wait, what is a mage doing in warrior class?" Alexa thought to herself.
"Rhea, please give me one of your daggers." Aiden requested.
"I was aware Isaac was training him, but I didn't know he had awakened his evolved type." Rhea thought to herself.
Three months ago, late at night, Aiden was in the training hall testing his evolved type. His eyes glowed blue, and he looked around his surroundings, sensing multiple energies of different individuals within the academy. "I can see the mana of living things." Aiden said with a light smile on his face.
This ability was helpful for Aiden, as it could tell the change of something or someone's mana. Aiden discovers he can gauge the power level of an individual based on their mana output using his eyes.
Aiden swiped his left fingers in the air, expecting a force to come out of his hand, but nothing happened. He closed his eyes and did it again, expecting something, but it only showed the same results. Aiden sighed and sat down.
"Well, Isaac said that is how he discovered a part of his evolved type. I think that doesn't work for me." Aiden shrugged his shoulders. Then he stood up and began to demonstrate his combat skills, with his eyes still glowing blue. "I just need to keep using my evolved type until I unlock a part of it, then."

Shinra didn't waste any time; he quickly pointed four of his right fingers at the group and launched out four purple needles towards their direction. Aiden's group quickly reacted and they split themselves up, dodging the attack, which caused a purple burst of energy. Shinra, expecting this, dashed towards Alexa and swiped his fingers, releasing the thread that slashed through things. Alexa, however, was quick to react; she created a barrier ready to block the thread, but it broke the barrier instantly, which caused a gasp from Alexa. The thread went straight to Alexa's face, but she barely tilted her head, dodging the attack; however, it gave her a small bleeding mark on her face, and a burst of purple energy from the thread sent her flying afterwards.
