When Sylas stepped onto the Scorpion Lineage's moon for the first time in a bit, he didn't expect to find that Khan and Gwenu had both returned.
On the surface, it looked like the two were the exact same as they had always been, not having the slightest change or shift about them. But the more Sylas looked, the further he found to go. Every step further was like another depth to find, another cliff to leap from.
Sylas was very much surprised.
It wasn't just that Gwenu had entered the D-tier. Khan was still in the D-tier himself and hadn't yet managed to finish building his Foundation, but there was an unfathomable gap between who he used to be and who he was now.
It wasn't like Sylas thought himself to be the only one that could improve his Foundation, but it was supposed to be much harder the further from Level 0 you got—let alone when you had left the F-tier entirely.
