Waking up in the morning, with a certain weight on top of him, the man slowly got to remember what happened the last night.
" ... "
The various and erotic sights of him feeding his essence to her flashing through his memories, and also the moment where he put a stop to it as he was getting exhausted, what happened next wasn't much, but just him laying down to get some rest.
Then, where was coming such a weight that he had no idea about when going to sleep last night ?
The answer was pretty much obvious, as it was the same Slime Princess he was now taking care of, but her position.. was really awkward at the moment.
Morning wood was a thing, and feeling her stomach pressing him down, he opened his eyes slowly and looked down at her, only to receive the very welcoming sight of his monster girl, wearing the opened vest and her looking right back at him.
" .. Good morning, Celeste... I guess monsters don't need to sleep huh. "
He somewhat had a hunch about it, but with her being awake at all time, he somewhat felt bad that he had to sleep while she didn't, though compared to her, he didn't need to eat or drink anymore, which made him think.
" Say system, okay I can't die if the Dungeon is still existing, but what about eating, drinking and sleeping, do I still need them as well ? "
[ The Dungeon Manager does not need to rest under normal circumstances, however, upon using life energy, the need for rest will be known. Eating, drinking or sleeping is otherwise considered a luxury and not a necessity. ]
" So I was just tired because I used my own life energy, which I guess is... Yeah, now absorbed by that little cutie. "
As he thought about it, it was true that he didn't feel tired the first time, but was just bored to death and decided to take a nap, but shoving such thoughts asides, he lifted his hand from the sand and put it on top of the head of his slime, caressing her head softly and seeing her leaning against his touch.
" Yeah, definitely cute... But why is the vest opened ? I remember I closed it last night.. Well, whatever, maybe she just opened it because she was hot. "
Not knowing that she did it because she wished to protect his weakness by putting hers on top of his, which is her core, he then slowly lowered his hand from her head to her waist, and lifting his other hand, he grabbed her hips and slowly pulling her up on top of him.
" Three, two, one.. "
And with a little of mental motivation, once she was placed correctly on top of him with her legs on his side, he then lifted his back to sraighten himself and sit down correctly, with the girl now resting on top of his lap while he was tightly hugging her.
" ... She'd definitely make a good cuddle pillow, I have to remember that. "
With such a useless thought leaving his mind, he ignored the stare of the curious girl towards everything he would do or say and rested in that position for a bit more, having ideas about doing things that he quickly calmed down as fast as those came by.
" Momma didn't raise no beast, let's remember that at least.. "
Restricting his hands from going down to her uncovered cheeks, instead, he lowered his head and gave a kiss to her forehead, acting like a protective being for the first time in his life before he spoke to her.
" .. Well Celeste, should we see if you can get up and walk ? "
Switching his thoughts to his natural curiosity, which was overflowing towards the young monster, he could see her looking at him with undying curiosity, as if she wished to understand his words, to which he could only lift her once more and put her down on the sand next to him, before actually getting up.
Feeling her eyes on him as he did so, he then turned back to face her and handed her his hand, to see if she would understand, but to his surprise, she just lifted herself up slightly and put her head against his head, rubbing her cheek against his limb.
" .... That's way too cute.. "
Of course, he couldn't just let her alone to do that, nor could he remove his hand either, so in the end, he spent some time petting her a few more times before actually putting a stop to it.
" Alright alright, now, let's get up.. Should we do that ? "
While he had no idea on how to teach a child to get up by itself, at least he knew how to carry her, and lowering his back for a moment, he put his hands below her armpits covered by the vest before lifting her from the ground.
" I noticed it a few times, but she's really light... "
Looking at her body slowly stretching itself the higher he lifted her, he only slowly put her down once her soles faced the ground, helping her keep her balance at first, before slowly removing his hands from her body while staring at her.
" ... Phew, it feels like she's going to fall under a simple breeze, but for now, she's standing. "
The Slime Princess, which reached a new height that she didn't think was possible, looked down to the ground with curiosity written on her face, and especially at her legs which permitted her such a feat.
" Now, let's teach her how to walk and to get up once she fall.. "
However, what followed wasn't as easy as just standing up, because even if she actually possessed the ability to walk, when it was the first time for her, and especially on top of an uneven ground and sand that would lightly sink under each steps, at least, he was glad that she didn't get hurt during the process.
Even though she would fall multiple times, and stumble even more than that, with him holding her hands as he guided her around, he managed to prevent most accidents to turn into disasters, letting her discover the feeling to walk around while being guided.
Giving her patting sessions when she did good, after a few times, he slowly removed his hand from under hers, still walking in front of her while keeping his hands up, as if asking for her to grab them herself, and she kept following him around the small island.
" Well, it should be considered great that she learns fast, but I don't see how I can teach her to run on such a small island.. "
So with no choice, he stopped the teaching session there for now, before he asked for the System to open the shop for him.
" I should prioritize getting points from now instead of widening the area.. Let's just get five new Slime Woman, I'll put them here. "
And with his indication, after he had confirmed that he wished to buy five of them, which costed a whopping 100 points each, five small slime appeared in front of the two of them, with her standing by his side and holding his hand.
Yet, something surprised happened next.
At first, he just felt her hand against his slightly tremble, but rapidly enough, she stuck her body to his, hugging him tightly as if she wouldn't let go of him.
Fortunately, having his waist being hugged with her head resting against his chest wasn't so bad of a feeling, but he still got curious about such a strong reaction, as it was the first time that such an innocent child reacted like that.
" ... What are you doing ? "
To his words, she showed a reaction as she looked up to him, the initial curiosity in her eyes being transformed into a complex mix of feelings that he couldn't read, but from her trembling pupils and shivering body, he guessed that there was fear in it.
" Did I.. spoil you too much ? "
The only thing that she could be afraid of wouldn't be the members of her own race, especially as she was a Princess, so he easily guessed that she might have been afraid to be left alone, but he didn't get why, especially as the island was so small that he couldn't even run, not talking about hiding himself.
" .. Well, it's alright as well I guess, not that I can do anything about it. "
In the end, he kneeled down and hugged tightly the young monster, patting the back of her head gently and comforting her, not sending a glance to the slimes that were on the side as it would only hurt her even more, though he had no idea that it would prove itself to be more difficult a bit later.
