OUTSKIRTS OF BALCROFT.
Gwyneria and Marcus leave for the outcast coven once at Aidan's command. The journey is so long that they begin to doubt the direction to their destination at some point, and they travel in secret, under the cover of night which makes it longer.
Finally, they get to the part leading the outcast coven as they alight amd cover the rest of the distance on foot. The inhabitants there stare at them, then slowly glare at Gwyneria once they recognise her.
"My mother surely does have a reputation here." Gwyneria mutters under her breath.
They walk towards a hut to find Kalara there.
Kalara looks at them, her face suspicious.
"Why are you here? Don't tell me Isolde directed you here, " he says, looking at Gwyneria. "I have nothing to offer her again. I performed the almost forbidden ritual and was almost cast out by my people, I won't indulge her again as I've returned the favour we owed her."
"Isolde Le Fay was killed." Marcus says.
