Aidan holds Griselda's limp and cold body in his arms. He gently moves and carries her to their bed, his heart still pounding with an unknown fear.
He looks at her pale face, and a fresh wave of panic washes over him. He doesn't know what happened or what to do. He just walked in on her terrifying and cryimg form, and he is terrified himself.
He yells for guards, and they rush in and he tells them to find Dalia, Lord Alistair's wife amd her physician. "Tell her to hurry!" he commands, his voice echoing through the room.
The guards nod and rush out of the room and Aidan sits on the bed, holding Griselda's hand, his thumb gently caressing her knuckles. He whispers her name over and over again, his voice filled with a desperate plea for her to wake but she doesn't respond.
Some minutes later, Dalia rushes in, her face filled with concern as she sees Griselda's unconscious body on the bed, and she immediately guesses what has happened.
