Isolde's voice is low and scary as she mutters her spell going towards Aidan. The fire in the fireplace gets bigger and crackles louder and brighter.
Aidan looks at her with a calculating gaze, he knows he has to be smart, not just strong. He looks at Isolde, and he knows this will be a hard fight, not just physical, which is why he brought no much guards.
Isolde laughs. "You think you can stand against me? You think you can just waltz in here and take away my daughter because you wish to?! I noticed your healer snooping around and making enquiries about me." She says, throwing a disdainful look to Marcus.
"You think I won't know, that my informants won't expose you? You're just a boy playing with powers you don't understand." She says as her eyes blaze in anger.
Aidan's eyes get narrow. "You're a monster," he says in a low voice. "You took a good person and made her a weapon. Is she really your daughter?"
