Few days later
Griselda wakes up with the sunlight hitting at her eyes. It's too bright for her and she groans, remembering that she forgot to pull the curtains last night.
She rolls over, trying to find the peace she felt for the last few days again, but she can't. The anger and the fear are back, sitting down in her stomach.
She sits up and looks around the room, it's a beautiful cage, but still a cage and she's a prisoner. She scoffs at her thoughts.
The bed is too big and soft and it all feels so wrong and fake. It feels like a dream she's trapped in as she forces herself to think her way through the situation. She gets up and walks over to the table. The plate of food from last night is still there, untouched. She hasn't eaten much in past few days. She isn't hungry as her stomach is in knots thinking about her next action.
