Since Griselda was taken away from Balcroft, the kingdom is now filled with cold and mostly quiet people, everybody lives in fear of their ruthless king with none daring to oppose him.
The rage that has consumed Aidan since Griselda was taken, has now given way to a calculated cruelty for his every step. Regardless of his ruthlessness and strong handedness in ruling the people, the kingdom has remarkably soared high in economic and financial aspects more than reign of the last few kings put together. Due to this, alot of kingdoms come seeking alliance with them and with a calculated measure with the aim to solely benefit, he deals with them, extending an arm if the odds suits him.
Now, he has Rina and her mother, and with them, he holds the key to bringing Griselda back.
