Chapter One Hundred Ninety-Five:
"Nonga waganagi ng kanapi-kanhipi an kelala as ongbu hankilalaka ng mga Yosdi?"
He laughed at what Goddess Aella had said when he visited that day.
"Why, don't you want to see me?"
"Well, you're here again what else can I do?" She said and shrugs off. "So, what are you doing here?"
"I'm here to visit you. Why, can't I visit you anymore?"
"That depends."
"Of what?!" I frowned at what she said but she just smiled at me.
…
"What are you doing there, Hunapo?" Goddess Aella surprisingly asked him.
"What else do you think will I do?" He replied annoyed.
"What was that, Hunapo?" She asked as she crossed her arms to her chest.
God Hunapo takes a deep breath before he stands up to face her. "I thought we were just going to a simple place but what is it? You bring me here! To what?"
"To hunt." Goddess Aella simply answered.
He sighs deeply. "Aella, you know that I have no interest in such pleasures or whatever you call it."
"I know."
"Then why did you bring me here in the first place?"
"To test you."
"Test me?" He was surprised from what she said.
"Yes. I want to test you on how patiently you can wait for the opportunity to get you something you love to get. That you will persevere to wait and you will never be impatient because you know that eventually you will get what I want too… This does not require the force or bribe of others."
God Hunapo frowned at what Goddess Aella answered. "What do you want to convey by what you said, Aella?" I seriously asked.
Goddess Aella took a deep breath before she answered. "You know what I'm telling you, Hunapo."
Silence.
God Hunapo just looked quietly at Goddess Aella and it took a few minutes before he could answer.
"I will never do anything that could damage my reputation as my father's youngest child." He seriously stated. "So, whatever the God of Knowledge / Wisdom tell you don't believe him because I have my own mind and I know right and wrong."
…
Present…
Unknown…
How long has Aella and I been talking about that? I can't count anymore because our God Father almost just created the fourteen realms that he divided into two worlds, the Hell World and the Heaven World. Which he gave to his fourteen children and I was the only one who got nothing. And that's where it all started.
In the simple grudge and anger, I hid, a nameless God used it. He attracted me with his words and that's where it all started. And I am also responsible for having the name of that God. Everything that was done and still going on are my entire fault.
"Ka—Hunapo." Medea immediately holds his hands. "Are you back?"
My eyes slowly open and everything begins to end.
"Aella." I speak as I intently look into her eyes. "I'm sorry for everything. And you were right about what you said before. I must have patiently waited as you said. But I became arrogant and became too proud of myself. And in the end, I created such a great chaos which destroyed many innocent lives."
"Hunapo."
I smiled at her. "Now, let me end this."
"No!" She exclaimed. "Let us end this."
Clueless I asked. "What do you mean?"
Aella smiled at me. "As I promised you before, I will never leave you no matter what happens."
"No, Aella!"
"Yes, Hunapo. I will join you to ends of the world."
I don't know what to answer correctly but knowing that I can be with her mad my heart happy. Yet, I also feel sad because I want her to do what she wanted to do. To let her live and be free away from the past, because what she would do was a heavy sacrifice and that was something I could not accept.
"Thank you, Aella." I begin. "So much it makes me so happy but then, I can't afford to deprive you of the opportunity to be able to live freely from the past. I want you to–––"
Aella put her finger to my lips, stopping me to speak longer. "I know and I understand what you mean. And I already think of it many times before but I still end up thinking only you." She holds my hand tightly. "All I want is to be with you even from before, I even asked your Father for your hand because I really wanted to marry you. I want to be with you through all these years. Where in life or even in death, I will be with you forever, so please let me be with you. And I don't even care wherever we go as long as you are with me I'll stay with you forever. So, please accept my plea and let me be with you, Hunapo."
To what she said I no longer know what I should answer but if I will be true to myself. I want to be with her. I want her stay by my side. I want to be with her forever. Even if in life or in death, I want to stay with her forever!
Is this my selfish wish or a selfish desire? I don't know. But the look in her eyes, I know and I can tell she is serious, honest and sincere to what she just said.
I smiled and then removed her hand from my lips. "You know what, when you speak, I know I will never change your decision." I spoke.
"And you were right, so even if you don't like it, you have no choice but to like my decision."
"Well." I shrugged. "What else can I do…" I finally surrendered.
"Love me." She answered. "Forever."
I look into her eyes and what she said doesn't need any more permission because I already love her and it will be forever. And I will never let go her hand.
