Chapter One Hundred Seventy-Four:
"Because, I'm afraid if I bite you through your neck, I might kill you or worst. I make you one of us…" he paused.
"As a Vampire." I answered and quickly saw in his eyes the fear and worry because I answered it correctly.
"Yes. And that is what I don't want you to be, my Love." he replied. "Because I want you to stay as a human, a pure one… you are free to experience all the things we cannot experience and growing old is one of what we wanted."
"Haimon." I feel the sadness from his tone and I couldn't help but to feel sad too and without even thinking much. I just reach him to give him a warm embrace not knowing I am totally naked and the only thing that covered up my nakedness just fall out yet I didn't care at all. "Don't be sad, my Love." I answered. "If the right time comes and you want me to be just like you then, I'll agree no matter what. I'm ready to be with you forever."
Haimon took a deep breathe then he lightly pushes to break my embrace and meet my eyes.
"I will never ever allow you to be imprisoned in this curse for a lifetime because I know how lonely it is at a time when you have so many loved ones lost in your life. So, I hope you do understand why I'm so against of it, my Love."
I stared into his eyes for a long time and I understand it clearly, every word that he said was the truth, I even feel his entire emotions after all those years he lives. Reason for me to have nothing to say and all I can do is hug him again in silence and it took us a while before he breaks that silence.

"I think you need to put on some clothes first." I don't know but it suddenly came out from my lips even though when I felt her soft and naked body in my arms, I couldn't help but feel the desire to own her again. Though I know she's still tired and sore, and I don't want to hurt her again because I may not be able to control myself anymore and drink all her blood until it drains her. Resulting of killing her and that is what I am fear off. Not even thinking of making her like us, a vampire, because for us, it is a curse that we want to cut off no matter what.
"Ahm," Shu Tokino immediately pulled the blanket up to cover her naked body and shyly answered. "I-If you excuse me. Ca-can I...?"
"Oh!" I immediately stand up out of the bed and replied. "I'll wait for you outside while I'll prepare our breakfast." Shu Tokino just silently nodded. "Okay! I'll go ahead." I answered and quickly left her.
After coming out of the room, I took several deep breaths before my body finally calm down. For the first time in my life, my obsession towards my wife finally begins yet, I have to strongly restrain myself so that I won't be able to hurt or transform her into one of us.

"Rishna."
I immediately turned around to meet him. "What is it?"
"Where is Navina?"
"She went back to check Galdur."
"Alright." He walks towards unconscious Wafi.
"What happened to Shu Tokino?" I curiously asked.
"She's fine." Ansel answered and turned around to look at her. "Did you also feel the return of the two wicked?"
"Yes. Khawar and Corey, I felt them." I answered and because of the sealing done to us by Siara, our entire memories of the past remained in our minds so I knew very well about the siblings who were from the void. And as soon as they escape out of the nothingness, the first thing they will do is to come here in the world of the Mortals then next is they will search for, "Kanik. The only thing they wanted from the very beginning."
"You were right." Ansel agreed. "But we still have time to prevent their permanent return to Earth. The reason why I gave Haimon and Shu Tokino three nights only, to consummate their marriage before Khawar and Corey return at the fifth night. I deliberately shorten it to make sure those two can't enter the Earth."
"What if Haimon is still unable to consummate their marriage? What will happen to Shu Tokino once she steps into the underworld?"
"You have nothing to worry about." He positively replied.
"What do you mean?"
"They already had done it."
"How sure you are?"
"Because I already felt the blood of Shu Tokino from Haimon's body after I visit them this morning before coming here. That's why, I'm so sure Haimon already done it."

Reinhardt's House
"Where is Aella?" I immediately asked Maury when I couldn't find Aella anywhere inside the house.
"Who's Aella?" Maury asked in confused.
It was only then that I remembered he didn't even know about Aella because I was the only one who remembered our past, my one and only woman I love the most when I was God.
"I mean, Medea." I answered. "I was looking for her. Where is she?"
"She went out."
"To where? And why she didn't even tell me she'll go out?" I irritably asked.
"You were sleeping that is why she chooses not to bother you and instead she asked me to tell you that, she just needs to go back home because she needs to get something there."
I take a deep breath to calm myself then answered. "Alright, I'll go there." I decided. "Just stay here, I'll drive on my own." I said and immediately took the key from him, not letting him to answer back.
Outside.
I hurriedly drive away from home with one thing in my mind, I have to protect Medea no matter what and telling her the truth will save her.
