Chapter One Hundred Seventy-One:
"Ansel?!" I was surprised when I saw him standing right in front of me as soon as I open the door at the front while I'm carrying my wife at my shoulder still unconscious.
"This is not the time to ask me question," he said and look at Shu Tokino. "You need to put her down first."
"But she––"
"I know. But you don't have to worry about it, she's fine."
"How can you say that?" I surprisingly asked as if what happened to Shu Tokino, the pain and suffering that I witnessed was nothing.
"Calm down first and just, put her down and I'll explain everything to you." He calmly answered and with a sigh I followed him and put Shu Tokino down at the sofa.
Ansel get closer to her and check her pulse then said. "She was already asleep."
"What?" I am surprised from what he just told because as what I saw earlier, Shu Tokino was in so much pain then suddenly after checking her pulse, he will announce that she's asleep? How can that happen?
"Maybe you're wondering how it happened that she was just sleeping after what you witnessed earlier, right?"
"How did you find out that something happened to Shu?"
"Because I'm also in pain the same as her, but because I'm a Warlock, I didn't feel that much pain compare to her, because she's a human." He answered but I don't get it.
"Why did she feel a sudden pain? What is going on? Tell me, what are you saying?"
Ansel deeply sighs before he answered. "What we have long avoided to return to the human world has returned once again. And since your wife's spirit is from a Goddess so she will also feel their presence as soon as they came back out of the void."
"Who they are?" I curiously asked.

I was surprised by what he revealed since the only story I knew was about Manu's story, the reason why it was hard to believe that someone wants more than destroying the world.

Then when I look back into her face her eyes finally open and the first thing, she said to me is…
"Wh-what happened?" She asked in a weak voice and it seems she doesn't remember anything. But it doesn't matter, what mattered most is, she look much better now.
And finally, I decided to conquer my fear, let myself freely love her without hesitation. Tonight is the night to fulfill my duty as her husband.
