Knock, knock, knock!
The door was knocked, and Betty finally snapped back from her uncontrollable emotions. She stood up and went to the sink to wash her face.
"Who is it?"
"Your Highness, it's me." The assistant's voice came from outside the door, "There's a guest who wants to see you."
"Who?" Betty asked, uninterested.
"Mr. Anton."
Anton?
Unfamiliar name. Betty lifted her face to look at herself in the mirror, noticing her eyes that were a bit red from crying, and frowned.
"Let them wait a moment, I'll be right out."
She carefully washed her face, tidied up her hair, and walked out of the bathroom. Then she found a pair of glasses from the drawer and put it on to cover her red eyes before heading to the guest room.

The anxious waiting middle-aged couple saw her enter and immediately stood up to greet her.
"Princess Betty, we are so sorry, so very sorry. It's our poor parenting that has caused you shock."
