Sally's chest tightened, "What was the situation then?"
"When you left after the tribulation, the child was gone too. How do you think he would react?" Jian looked at Sally, "Before, when you took the child, the feeling at that moment could drive one mad on the spot, how much more composed could he possibly be than I was?"
"When did Jian come? Stay and eat," Jun returned carrying two fat fish and a basket of wild fruits.
Sally looked at him, "Does the holy sacrifice have anything to do with me?"
Jun replied, "No."
Sally looked at him doubtfully, "Tell the truth."
"The holy sacrifice was predetermined long ago; he wasn't even born yet then." Jun looked at Jian with deep eyes.
Jian broke out in a cold sweat on his back, "I'll go check on Little Chang Le, I really like this kid."
