A nurse in pink scrubs rushed back from her rounds like she'd just seen a ghost.
Her co-worker, dressed in sky blue scrubs, looked up the moment she sat down. "What happened?" she asked, eyes wide with confusion.
"I think I saw a ghost… or maybe a doppelganger?" the pink-scrubbed nurse said, her face pale.
"Well, we are in a hospital. Maybe you did see one," the other nurse replied with a teasing tone in her voice.

Before she could finish, a notification sound chimed from the computer.
"Oh, the lab results are in," the nurse in blue scrubs said, immediately turning her attention to her workstation and ignoring the conversation.
"How is it?" the pink-scrubbed nurse asked, trying to shake off the unease from her earlier encounter.
"Is this…?"
"What?"
"Sh*t—call Doctor Park immediately!" the nurse in blue shouted.
Doctor Park, Li Mei's personal physician, was called right away.
