Chapter 333 - Chapter 330.2 : Controlling Secret Party!!

"What truth?"

Frost asked.

"Do you all believe in this so-called 'fate,' or that the history of the dragon race and humans was created by some ridiculous feather quill?" Hilbert's eyes carried a hint of self-mockery as he sighed, "The great Black King Nidhogg, turns out to be just a 'supporting character' in someone else's story. How laughable."

"I think you've truly gone mad, Hilbert!"

Frost opened his mouth, then angrily said, "This is just nonsense. In the name of the school's board of directors, I officially announce the termination of your position and isolation for an investigation!"

The old man, fiddling with a string of beads, shook his bell and nodded, "Agree."

Elizabeth followed suit, "Agree."

The man in a bright yellow tracksuit shook his bell, "Agree."

Finally, the mature woman, Lisa, glanced at him with regret, then nodded and shook her bell, "I agree."

"Unanimously passed. Hilbert Ron Anjou, you are officially relieved of all duties and will undergo isolation for investigation." Frost said in a deep voice, "As for the White King Adam Anglewid, he must be executed. We cannot allow a Dragon King to roam freely in human society!"

"Negotiations failed, huh."

Hilbert rubbed his furrowed brow, looking slightly tired as he said, "It's because I knew you all would react strongly that I kept it a secret. But I guess it ended up like this anyway."

"Hilbert, don't even think about resisting. We know the weakness of Time Zero very well."

Frost leaned on his cane, standing up directly from his seat, staring coldly at Hilbert, and said harshly, "Since the moment you entered this room, we've set up heat-sensing traps around you. Even if you possess the Word Soul 'Time Zero,' you won't be able to leave."

"It really is like you said. We failed."

Hilbert showed no sign of nervousness at all. His gaze swept over the board members, then fixed on a quiet corner of the room, sighing, "Then I'll leave it to you."

The board members followed his gaze and noticed a figure had suddenly appeared in the corner, unnoticed by anyone.

The person was wearing an ancient, long priest's robe. Their pale golden hair cascaded to their shoulders, and their eyes were as pure and clear as a child's. A soft, gentle smile played on their lips: "Nice to meet you, board members. I am Adam Anglewid."

In an instant, the faces of the board members changed, their expressions filled with shock and horror.

Just moments ago, they were discussing how to eliminate the White King, but now they discovered that the main figure was right there beside them. This was practically a death wish!

Frost's forehead twitched as his veins bulged, his gaze full of both surprise and anger as he looked at Hilbert, his eyes seeming to ask: "You old fool, did you bring the White King here?"

"No, no way!"

The elderly man stared at the "White King," his prayer beads dropping to the floor, horrified. "How... how did you get in?"

"White King, Adam Anglewid!"

The remaining board members' faces were filled with terror, their pupils shrinking to the size of pinpricks.

"I've always been here. It's just that you never 'noticed' me," Adam replied calmly.

He slowly walked to the main seat. Hilbert stood up, allowing him to sit. Adam sat down as if it were meant to be his place all along.

"Hilbert, have you... gone mad?!" Even Lisa, who had always been supportive of Hilbert, couldn't help but scream in shock, her eyes filled with deep fear.

The representative of the hybrid faction, controlling the economic and political lifeblood of Europe, once held in high regard, now appeared utterly terrified in the presence of the "White King."

All the calm and mysterious demeanor they once had was gone. They had completely lost their composure.

Hilbert was insane! He actually brought the White King to the board meeting!

"Someone! Hurry!"

Frost dropped his cane and shouted frantically.

A middle-aged man in riding attire immediately stood up, his face paling as he dashed towards the room's door, like a swift leopard.

The elderly man, twisting his prayer beads, had his throat tighten, his eyes glowing faintly golden, as though using a spell.

But all of these actions came to a sudden halt when Adam's finger tapped on the table.

"Quiet," he said softly.

An invisible wave of mental force swept through the entire room.

The middle-aged man charging towards the door froze, his body locked in the action of attempting to open it.

The elderly man, turning the prayer beads, wore a terrified expression, his mouth wide open, but no sound escaped.

Frost's pupils suddenly contracted as he stood still, like a puppet, and the two female board members were silent, their eyes wide with fear.

"Originally, I didn't plan to be so brutal."

Adam looked at the panicked expressions of the board members and calmly said, "But there's always some idiot messing with me, repeatedly provoking me, so I decided to reorganize the Secret Party."

"Reorganize... the Secret Party?"

The board members instantly felt an ominous premonition at those words.

"Yes, after all, I really hate trouble."

Adam rested his hand on his cheek, smiling lightly. "So, I ask you all to obey my will."

As his words fell, his pure, clear eyes seemed to ripple with countless whirlpools. The board members involuntarily became drawn to his gaze.

Their souls seemed to plunge into the depths of the whirlpool, their expressions slowly stiffening, their eyes losing focus, becoming hollow.

Through the Sea of Collective Subconscious, Adam manipulated their minds, directly sinking into the board members' subconscious, and deep within their island of consciousness, he implanted the Psychological Cue: "Obey."

Silently and without a sound, the board of directors, who controlled the greatest power of the Hybrids, were completely turned into puppets.

Looking at this scene, Hilbert felt deeply conflicted. "Now, you are one of the most powerful people in the world."

The Secret Party's family power was truly astonishing. For example, Elizabeth Laurent, one of the most famous syndicates in Britain, controlled vast mineral resources, and Frost, the true ruler of the Gattuso family. With such power, Adam was practically the 'uncrowned king' of the Hybrids!

With such terrifying strength, even toppling a nation's rule would be effortless.

"Power is the most useless thing, isn't it?" Adam said softly.

"Yes, to you, power really means nothing." Hilbert sighed and lowered her gaze at the person in the main seat, asking, "What do you plan to do next?"

"Of course, it's time to settle the score."

Adam's eyes half-closed as he sneered and said, "King of Sky and Wind, Odin!"
