Officer Xue kicked aside the black box on the floor and raised his pistol, leading the team into the ward.
The pungent smell of blood seemed like an invisible tide that had overwhelmed something within the ward. A series of crashes resounded as the black boxes fell to the floor, and in the center of the room's hospital bed, Officer Xue saw a child with a flawless beauty, almost inhuman.
He appeared to be around ten years old, showing no defects whatsoever. If one had to choose a word to describe him, Officer Xue thought "God" would be more fitting for this child.
The wall made of black boxes collapsed; surrounding the bed was a circle of instruments shaped into black cubes, from which numerous black lines extended. The boy was at the center of all these instruments.
"Put down the items! Hands on your head!" Officer Xue roared, but the boy didn't care, his hands twisting a multi-colored Rubik's cube.
