Su Yunjin observed the women on the street from inside the carriage curtains.
From behind, the woman's figure was slender and graceful, likely not bad-looking.
The woman held a sachet in her hand, smiling as she turned to look at Gu Ya, probably asking him if it looked good. Su Yunjin then saw Gu Ya pick another one for her at the lady's stall.
The two seemed so intimate that anyone unaware might think they were the real couple. Su Yunjin felt a bit uncomfortable; attempting to look further, the carriage had already moved on, and the figures of Gu Ya and that woman were no longer visible.
Su Yunjin lowered the carriage curtain.
Her previously good mood evaporated in an instant. The scene she just saw kept replaying in Su Yunjin's mind. Why had she not seen that woman before? Why was Gu Ya with her? And why did Gu Ya lie to her last night?
