"No, I'm fine!" Leng Zirui said nonchalantly, raising his hand to wipe away the blood trickling from the wound on his forehead caused by the gravel earlier. "Good wife, your husband is really alright. Just go, I'll be there soon."
"Alright, see you at the police station." Xu Xia hung up the phone.
"I've already notified the Rome police to investigate that car and Lei Qingqing." Qiao walked over, handing a cigarette to Leng Zirui, "Sorry, Rui, I was late."
"It's not your fault." Leng Zirui didn't take the cigarette, just raised his hand to toss the gun to him. Leng Zirui didn't blame Qiao for Lei Qingqing's escape; instead, he considered it his own oversight. Knowing things were irreparable now, he just sighed inwardly and put on a smile, "You have a first aid kit in your car, right?"
He didn't want to meet Xu Xia with a face covered in blood and make her worry.
Qiao glanced at his expression, then patted his shoulder, "Follow me."
