Well, that last one is ominous as fuck.
"Ian!" Mom shouted at me because I wasn't paying attention.
"Gah! Sorry, my powers are doing their thing."
"And what are they doing exactly?"
"Well, it's like-" That's as far as I got as the door opened and Armsmaster stepped inside. His steps paused when he saw Mom in the room with me.
"I'm sorry, I didn't think this would warrant for you to personally visit a fresh trigger Director." His tone was clipped with uncertainty.
My Mom, Director Emily Piggot of the PRT ENE, put on her work face as she looked at her subordinate. "Well, of course I would be involved, since this is my son, Ian Piggot."
He seemed to shuffle a bit. "I see, I didn't know you had a son." I was told his people skills were next to nonexistent, but at least the tin man can still tell when he's in an awkward situation.
"Well, now everyone knows that he exists and is even a cape. He will be joining the Wards by the end of the week, so for now just get his statement and I will handle the rest."
Armsmaster nods. "Of course." He focuses on me now. "While I have acquired security footage and testimony from the victim, I need to know how you got into that situation, as well as context for your powers."
"Well, it's simple really. I woke up and wanted donuts. We didn't have any so I walked to the 7-Eleven to buy some. Three Nazis were standing out front preventing people from coming in. I looked over their shoulders and saw four more guys torturing the clerk. I went to turn around and call the police once I was far enough away, but one of them grabbed me. He took me inside and gave me a knife. He was trying to pressure me into joining in, so I stabbed him. Two of the guys grabbed me and they started beating me. As I was getting beaten up, I got powers and turned the tables on them. They all got knocked out, I got the clerk freed, and then I passed out." God, I hate talking.
"Could you explain in more detail about your powers? While the scythe is obvious, there appeared to be something invisible assisting you as well."
"Well, my powers are, well, stupidly broken."
"What do you mean?" Armsmaster asked as Mom leaned forward.
Mentally, I brought up the gacha screen. Judging from their looks, they can't see it. I found an explanation tab and skimmed it before answering.
"So, essentially, my power is a giant reward system, giving me random stuff whether it's Abilities, Skills, Traits, Items or Familiars. When I do something notable, it gives me a Ticket. The Ticket can be of a certain category depending on the feat, as well as the quality depending on how difficult the feat was. It gave me 3 Gold Tickets which resulted in me getting a scythe that I can manipulate the shape of and what it can and can't cut. A Trait that makes it impossible for anything I own to be stolen from as it will teleport back to a convenient location for me to pick up. As well as giving me straight up, a Stand from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as a Familiar."
"You mean that story with those guys that fight with Master Projections?" My Mom wanted to confirm.
"Yep." A beam of light shot out of me and went to the window. "I got 『Hanged Man』which is actually really good since its a long ranged Stand that only exists in reflections, but can influence the real world from within it." I then commanded it to move the empty chair in the room.
"Fascinating." Armsmaster was looking at both the reflection and the real room, waving his hand around the 'floating' chair.
Mom, meanwhile, was looking like she just hit the jackpot.
[For explaining your powers, you have earned 1 Platinum Ticket!]
Man that is a lot I'm sitting on.
"Sitting on what?" Mom asked.
Guess I said that out loud. "I have a bunch of Tickets I can roll right now." And roll I shall!
"Wait a second, don't do anything yet!" Mom shouted as she stood up quickly. Oops, I guess I shouldn't have done that. Please give me something to curb her wrath!

OR
[Protection From Arrows]
Elite Trait
Passive, Thinker.
You have a natural instinct to avoid projectiles, you always have a sense of where they are coming from and instinctually try to dodge them like a sixth sense.
God, I am totally qualified for the Lancer Class since I just took Protection from Arrows. Just then a clattering was heard as a very short spear and a metal bronze ball with red and yellow lights appeared on the floor.
"What. Did. You. Do." Mom looks at me like I just started the apocalypse.
I can also safely say that Chutzpah does not work when you have to confront your pissed off mother.
Haha, I'm in danger.
Mom is driving me back home as she is talking on the phone to do damage control of the situation. Despite their best efforts, the PRT couldn't put a lid on the incident and the public knows who I am. At the very least, it gave Mom the excuse to put pressure on the Empire, a move I wholeheartedly appreciate.
After having to explain the results of my new rolls, Mom got me discharged from the hospital while ordering Armsmaster to study the Golem Core and the Inverted Spear of Heaven. At least, not before making sure that I won't consider them "stolen" since she knows that is something I would pull off. Luckily neither of them caught on that I knew what Jujutsu Kaisen was despite it not existing yet. Copyright laws are more screwed up due to Aleph, and the fucking mouse is still the goddamn king because of it.
As we pulled up to the house, I saw some PRT troopers doing some crowd control on our street, mostly them blocking news reporters. Mom turned to me before I left the car.
"Since I can't really ground you because of this mess, I want you to clean up every inch of the house tonight. Every floor, carpet, shelf, toilet, whatever needs to be spotless. You are then to come up with your costume and name for tomorrow. Do I make myself clear?" Her voice is as cold as Cocytus.
"Yes ma'am."
"Good, I will send someone over to keep an eye on you." She then unlocked the car to let me out. As I closed the car door I heard her roll down the window. "And Ian?"
I turned around. "Yeah?"
"I love you. Please be safe while I'm gone."
"I will." She lightened up a bit after that. She then drove off back to work. Once I got inside I slumped down to the ground with my back to the front door and sighed heavily. This is going to be such a pain in the ass. Things are definitely going to get worse before they get better. But first, I need food since I haven't eaten a single thing all day.
I went to the kitchen to make some food. I decided to call out my Stand again, hoping that having it out will count as training to increase my reserves. I then commanded it to jump to a reflection outside to act as a security camera. It is a bit strange having two different perspectives, but it just works without any complications. I did the same for Shadow Scythe by not only making it harmless, but I also shaped it into a wristband on my right wrist. As long as there is a curved blade at the end of a stick, I can shape it to just about anything I want. So I made the stick and blade into a collapsible form that can be put on my wrist. Just a flick of the wrist and I got a small scythe in my hand.
I pulled out a pan and placed it on the stove and turned on the heat. I then went and grabbed a box of angus burger patties and threw two on the pan. I then doused them with Worcestershire sauce and added some salt and pepper to the meat. Grabbed some kaiser (thanks for ruining that word asshole) hamburger buns and placed them in the toaster ready to toasted when the patties are done. As the burgers cooked, I decided to start on some cleaning in the kitchen. I made sure to avoid the spots I'm already using since I do not want to clean them up twice. I was able to wipe down the shelves, countertop, and fridge before my burgers were done. I ate them with gusto before continuing my punishment. I cleaned up what I used before focusing on the rest of the kitchen sans the floor, I will do all the floors last.
From『Hanged Man』I was able to see two individuals get let through and were walking up to the door. I went over and opened up the door before they can ring the doorbell.
"So, I guess you're the ones keeping an eye on me tonight?" I asked Assault and Battery since they were caught off guard when I opened the door.
Assault quickly recovered. "Yep, and don't worry kiddo, we're the cool babysitters. Letting you stay up past bedtime and let you watch R-rated movies."
Battery just facepalmed at her husband's antics. "Ignore that. Can we come in?"
"Sure, and don't call me kiddo." The two walked in and I locked the door.
"So… didn't know that the boss lady had a kid." Assault tried breaking the ice.
"Well, I liked to stay home all the time."
"What about school?" Battery asked.
"Online school." I went back to focusing on my cleaning.
The two just awkwardly stood around as I cleaned around the house. I guess Mom ordered them not to help me with cleaning. Eventually they decided to sit down on the couch, mostly after Battery stopped her husband from snooping around. After a couple of hours I managed to finish everything.
[For cleaning your house without assistance, you have earned 1 Silver Skill Ticket!]
Ugh, please be good.
Rolling 1 Silver Skill Ticket, you have gained:
[Intermediate Medicine]
Uncommon Skill
You are as skilled as a doctor, possessing a variety of medical knowledge and skills in treating injuries, illnesses and problems as well as familiarity with the body and medicine as well as its applications.
"GAH!" I fell on the ground grabbing my head. My scythe dispersed and 『Hanged Man』bounced across various surfaces until the lightbeam went back into me. The two heroes rushed over to me.
"Hey! Kid, you alright?"
Battery started to pull out her phone, "I'm calling this in."
I held up my hand and took some deep breaths. "I'm fine, my power just crammed 4 years of medical school into my brain."
"Huh?" They both questioned.
"You've been briefed on how my power works?"
Battery lowered her phone. "Kind of? You accomplish something notable and you get something random as a reward."
"Yeah, well for completing half of my overall punishment, I just got all of the knowledge needed to be a fully trained doctor."
Thus earned a whistle from Assault. "Well, looks like you just saved the boss lady a lot of money right there. Should I be calling you Doctor Piggot?" That got me to snort a bit in amusement.
"Seriously though, are you okay?" Battery was still concerned.
"Yeah, the headache is going away."
"Are you sure?"
"Trust me, I'm a doctor." I couldn't fight off the shit-eating grin as I said that.
Assault began laughing his ass off. "Great one Doc, hahaha!"
Battery could only shake her head in response.
"Well, off to do the other half of my punishment." I then resummoned my scythe and Stand. I think this method of training is working, but it's hard to tell for sure. I then went to my room to draw up my costume on my computer. Assault and Battery followed me.
"So what exactly else do you have to do?" Battery asked.
"Have to come up with my costume and name. Already have an idea in mind." I sat down and turned on my PC. I saw Assault look at my collection. Sorry pal, but the good shit is hidden. Only thing like that out in the open is my bodypillow, which is under my covers. Only the more wholesome waifus are out next to the shonen and gaming badasses and monsters and mechs. Well, there is some lewd stuff out, but only because it's their base design like Chun-li and Mai Shiranui!
"Well, if you need some pointers, you can ask us." I can tell she is trying not to judge my tastes as well as making sure Assault doesn't cross a line with his perusing. He is currently trying to look through my darkened glass case which holds all of my hentai figures. Too bad you can't see through it unless I turn on the light which is activated from a remote I have hidden in my desk.
God, looking at my Angel Blade figurine would definitely increase my motivation right now. Too bad I can't do that at the moment.
I threw on my headphones and pulled up a Daft Punk playlist to listen to while drawing my costume. I opened up a drawing program and got to work.
Safe to say that my drawing skills are the same, bad, rather sad for someone with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree.
Ok. Lock in. Pull up some images for reference, and do my best. I guess it's a good thing that the design I'm stealing comes from a game that never got made on both Bet and Aleph. Too bad that the most famous elevator pitch of all time never happened. Ok, stop monologing, get drawing…
… and done. From design, protections, and name, I got it all on page.
[For designing your hero persona, you have earned 1 Bronze Skill Ticket!]
I should let them know what I'm going to do again. I take off my headphones and see them both sitting on my bed, Battery leaning back into Assault, as he is holding open the third volume of Battle Tendency and they are both reading it.
"Hey you two," they both looked at me quickly, "I'm going to get more info dumped into my brain just so you know." I didn't bother to hear their response as I rolled.
Rolling 1 Bronze Skill Ticket, you have gained:
[Novice Driving]
Common Skill
You know how to drive most vehicles, you are no expert but you won't fall off your bike or start driving into pedestrians.
Well, at least I can probably get my drivers license early now. But I will most likely be forced to only use a bike or rollerskates or something, which I am fine with. At least the headache wasn't as bad.
"So, what can you do now Doc?" Assault was putting my manga back on my shelf.
"I can now drive most land-based vehicles, but don't expect me to pull off stuff like an action movie." I then realized how tired I am. It has been a long day, and coupled with my energy training, I can safely say- IT'S FUCKING PAST 11 AT NIGHT!
I recall my shit and sag in exhaustion. "Hey, so I'm going to bed now. Do whatever you guys need to do, or something." Fuck, I am so tired. The two heroes left my room and I got into some pajama shorts. As I crawled into bed and hugged my bodypillow, which I flipped to the side with her naked, I realized something.
"Shit, they saw this. Hope they don't tell Mom…"
