"I think a physical and a few tests to find out your physical limits would be appropriate." Horton says.
You nod, that does sound reasonable.
"Now, here's a question, how skittish are you about being naked...or very nearly naked?" He asks you.
Being nude? You don't really mind. You'd probably be naked more often if it wasn't something frowned upon by society.
"I see" He says writing down something on his clipboard.
Standing up, he motions for you to follow. After a few minutes of walking, you arrive at what you assume is the same testing ground as before.
Rather than a desk and white walls, you see a large assortment of machines and what seems to be testing equipment.
Horton walks up to one of the nearby scientists and takes a sealed package.
"Right, so, we need you to change into this." He says giving you what appears to be....underwear?
"It's more than underwear, its precious testing equipment, we even got a smaller full body suit for the young miss, here." Horton says as he takes out another, smaller box.
"It looks.....humiliating" Blake says with a displeased scowl.
"It's only us here, no one else will be able to see you, aside from those that watch the recordings" Horton says.
Where's the changing room?
"Over there" Horton points towards a makeshift changing room.
You nod and begin to change. Some of the scientists quickly tell you to go and change in the changing room.
Why? They never said you had to change in it.
"Then why did you ask?" One of the scientist's yells.
You thought Blake might be shy.
Horton actually laughs at this.
In any case, you and Blake quickly get changed and start the tests.
First, they test out Blake's and your physical strength. This consists of lifting heavy weights and using weird machines to see how much resistance your body can take before you tell them to stop.
This goes rather well, though, your strength stops just short of the "average" a normal hunter recently graduated should have.
After that, endurance and an actual medical exam follow. They are quite surprised at Taily's strength and note how a faunus tail is usually only about half as strong as their dominant arm.
As for Blake, they are very surprised by how strong her base form is. Having as much strength and speed as the average Beacon student in such a small package is something they find quite interesting.
In the end, you get a few little suction cups stuck to you during the tests and enjoy some free energy drinks. Some of the scientists take a few pictures and you ask them for copies to remember these tests.
Perhaps you can show them to your friends? Then again, would they find pictures of you in just boxers to be offensive?
It doesn't matter, at least you had a nice time.

[To Be Eaten Or To Eat?]
With Zinogre now somewhat docile, you can finally focus on the nagging feeling at the back of your mind.
You're not sure why, but every time you look at Zinogre, you get a feeling of....familiarity?
Truly, you have no idea why it exudes such a feeling, perhaps it reminds you of the Zinogre you killed not so long ago?
Apparently, you staring at it only makes its anger grow. It growls and attempts to launch a small ball of lightning at you.
With an amused tone, you open your mouth and eat its little attack. It tastes a bit spicy and has a small burning aftertaste.
You think a tire iron soaked in dust would really compliment the taste, but in any case, you take out your magnetic sword and hold it above Zinogre.
It lets out a small and shocked whine as it's suddenly stuck to your blade. You're not certain why that worked, but you wanted to try it anyways.
In any case, with it struggling wildly on your sword, you attempt to get a better feel for what seems so familiar about it.
You try a plethora of things, from feeding it a finger, shocking it with your lightning domain, and even trying to command it with your Grimm related powers.
Surprisingly, giving it a bit of your soul to eat is what works. As the tiny part of yourself is consumed by it, you realize why it felt so familiar.
Somehow, this Grimm has a minuscule amount of your soul inside itself. Thankfully, even though it's a small piece, you are able to glean a bit of information from it.
Apparently, this Zinogre was the one you killed, though, it killed and ate you in its own timeline. For some reason, the other "you" decided that giving it a such a small amount of your soul was a worthy reward for slaying you.
Looking back at the memory, you see that the other "you" looks nothing like your current form. No, instead of soft ears, your other self has sharp and serpent-like eyes.
At any rate, you've now solved the riddle of why Zinogre seems so familiar. It would also explain its odd behavior and strange abilities, perhaps it had been evolving due to your other self's soul? Either way, what should you do about this?

You're a bit disappointed that you couldn't have one on one training with your teacher, but you understand.
He appears to be very busy, so, you try and make his day as easy as possible.
Accepting his student's challenges, you take out your emerald blade and prepare for a fight.
Suffice to say, you easily beat most of his students with your powers over time.
You even try out your new style, though, you don't really make any progress in it.
At the very least, you finally managed to understand a bit about how to properly use a great sword.
You mostly study his other student's stances and how they swing their sword, the tips your teacher gives are also very helpful.
Overall, you made quite a bit of progress on the path of the great sword.

[Not Eating, The Greatest Shame]
No, you won't eat this Zinogre. In a way, you find it very interesting.
While it has no soul if its own and thus you aren't able to awaken it, the idea of such a being still makes you smile.
Perhaps you could find another use for it? Humans have always been fighting Grimm, would you be able to tame this one?
From the looks of things, it should be able to survive being caged, after all, it has a small amount of a Solus's soul.
It's also quite amusing watching it try to escape from you. Maybe you can show it off to our team? Ruby does like cute things.
At any rate, since it hasn't caused too much trouble, you'll let it walk around for a bit. An hour should do, then you'll drop it in your pocket and be on your way.

[Well, That Was Surprising]
Where is everyone? These are the thoughts that run through your mind.
You had wanted to go and ask your teammates what they thought about your new recipe.
Having learned to actually cook, you decided to make everyone food, after all, you had seen how others felt when you complimented their food.
Perhaps if you made the food, you could feel like that as well? That is why you find yourself walking through Beacon's hallways looking for your team.
First, you visit JNPR and ask if they've seen anyone, Nora kept smiling and told you she'd seen Ruby by the cliffs. With a destination in mind, you quickly excuse yourself and go to the cliffs.
You do spot a red blur try and follow you along the way, but you dismiss the possibility of it being Ruby, after all, Nora said she was by the cliffs.
Arriving at the cliffs, you try and look around for Ruby. Sadly, it appeared she had left, if the small note by the launch pads was anything to go by.
You really do find it quite nice that she informed you that the Beacon's cooking club was handing out free food, though.
Finishing up your small detour, you once more commence your search. Coming up with a bright idea, you try and ask Blake if she's seen them.
She quickly responds back through your link. Apparently, she had seen them, though, she wasn't looking at them now.
While you found her phrasing a bit odd, you ask her to help you look for them. She then tells you where to meet up.
After joining up with Blake, your search begins anew. On your journey, you meet up with Cardin, Nora, and Alicia.
One more you ask if they've seen your team. Cardin sighs and begins to tell you something. Apparently, he was fed up and didn't care what your team thought.
Before he can actually explain, Nora wraps her hands around his mouth and Alicia grabs his legs. As they lift him up, you see him start to struggle.
Muffled shouts of "It's just a stupid-", "Are you seriously doing-" and "Son of a-" can be heard as Cardin tries to escape.
Nora looks at Alicia and they both nod in unison. Before you can question them, they quickly run off.
Suffice to say, the rest of your search does not go very well. You do find it a bit odd that Blake takes you to the same location more than a few times, but she was probably just trying to make sure they weren't hiding.
Eventually, she suggests checking up the dorm room. You agree and head off.
Opening the door, you see that the blinds are shut and the lights are off. We're it not for your eyes, you would no doubt be unable to see anyone inside.
And no one is inside, still you rather like the room with the light on, so you go in and turn on the lights.
As the lights illuminate the room, you notice that everyone is hugging the wall in such a way that you would be unable to see them from outside the room.
"Surprise!!!" Mostly everyone yells. Cardin mutters it with a rather displeased look, Ren waves a small flag with the words written on it, and Weiss gives a slow and proper clap.
Confetti falls from the ceiling and Yang throws a few balloons at your face, they harmlessly bounce off.
Well, it was very surprising, you really didn't expect to have balloons thrown at your face.
"No, we mean Happy Birthday!!" Ruby shouts.
Birthday? Oh, you had heard about that, who's birthday is it?
"It's yours, silly" Nora says as she waves a flag in your face.
Is it?
"Well, we don't actually know when you were born, and we doubt you did either, so, we decided to celebrate your Birthday!" Yang says with a large grin.
Ah, that makes sense. You say with a smile.
So, what do people do at birthdays?
"Well, you usually hang out, eat cake and open gifts!" Ruby shouts with glee.
They made you food! You love food!
"Yeah....I had no idea....." Cardin says in a sarcastic voice.
Yang quickly elbows him in the gut, though, it looked quite weak.
So, they made you cake? Did they use a butler for it? You've heard on TV that that's how some people make a cake.
Weiss gives Ruby and everyone else a smug look.
"Uhhh, no, we just....made it....together" Blake says.
And so, everyone begins to talk among themselves and enjoy the party.
As you're opening the big box on your bed, which everyone worked to buy together, someone takes a picture of you.

Yes, you do always like to be punctual.
"A good habit to keep." Ozpin says with a small nod.
So, what did he want to suddenly talk to you about?
"Right to the point I see. Well, it's something rather important actually." Ozpin says with a glance at the clock.
Oh? He does seem like something has his mind at attention.
"Quite, at any rate, do you fancy a drink?" He asks pulling out a second mug of coffee.
Sure, you do like free food and drinks.
It tastes very delicious, you think.
"I'll let Glynda know, she made that specific brew herself" Ozpin says with a tiny smile.
Oh? Does she make Coffee for him? He's quite lucky.
"Yes...I am." He replies with a far away look.
You take another small sip.
"At any rate, I should begin the explanation now" Ozpin says taking a big sip from his mug.
Did he just want to play chess?
"No, I simply wanted to....well, to test you." He says with a serious look.
A test? What kind?
"I won't reveal everything that easily." He says with a chuckle.
Ok then, so what are you supposed to do?
"Simple, challenge me to anything. We will go from there." He says with a twinkle in his eye.

"Well, aside from obviously prohibited things, I shan't be flirting with my students or facing off with you in an eating competition" He replies with a smile.

"Either way, should you not be able to attend, i will change the reward from victory to something else" He quickly says.

Bikes, you quite liked how the wind rushed past you on the back of Yang's, so, you decided to see if you could buy one.
After asking around Vale for directions, you stumbled upon a nice little bike shop. Sadly, everything they were selling was far too expensive for you to buy.
They did have a much cheaper bike, but from what you could tell, it wasn't really all that amazing when compared to Yang's.
Perhaps you should save up your money and buy a more reasonable bike? The cheapest and most reasonable choice was only 5000 Lien.
Still, the bike the owner suggested does have some nice little bells you could ring.

[The Best Gift Of All]
As you open the box, you try and guess what they all might have gotten you.
Could it be food? You really can't think of anything that would be a better gift.
To preserve the box, you simply send it to your pocket and summon the contents.
"Hey! Can he do that? Where's all the RIP and TEARING!" Nora whines.
"It's his birthday, Nora" Ren quietly says.
"But-But....awwww." Nora whines with a downcast look.
To make her feel better, you take out a bit of the "bubble wrap" you had stored in your pocket.
You had taken it from the packaging that came with all of the materials used in the creation of your sword.
Ruby did seem to like playing with it during the time you worked on your sword, so, Nora should also like it....probably.
As the bubble wrap fell on her hands, you see a spark of recognition ignite in her eyes. With a large smile and disappointments forgotten, she begins hastily popping the bubble wrap.
"You can summon bubble wrap at will?" Yang asks with a smirk.
Only if you have some on you.
"Wait....how do you keep all that stuff on you? I know it's your semblance, but how does it work?" Weiss asks.
You begin opening your mouth.
"Nuh uh! That's a team secret! Don't tell her, Mordin!" Ruby shouts as she stands in front of you.
"And so, the Weiscream has been foiled once again~" Felicia says with a grin.
"Don't call me that! I have a name!" Weiss replies haughtily.
"Wow! Look out guys, she's got a name!" Yang says as she backs away and makes a fearful gesture with her hands.
*Sigh* "Why couldn't I have gone to Atlas Academy?" Weiss mumbles.
"I ask myself a similar question every day....." Cardin mutters.
In any case, turning your head back to your gift, you see an empty picture frame.
What a thoughtful gift! You can put a nice picture in it!
"Idiot.." Cardin says as he shakes his head.
"You're..ugh...supposed to take a picture with us, then you put that picture inside" Yang says awkwardly.
Oh, that makes more sense.
"Right, so, can we get this over with?" Cardin says.
"He really wants to get close to Mordin, probably" Alicia whispers to Yang.
They both snicker and pass along the message.
Somehow, by the time it reaches you, it has turned into "Cardin wants to passionately embrace Mordin"
Either way, you all soon gather and take a picture together. Looking at the picture, you see everyone smiling brightly, even Ren has a small smile. Cardin still looks a bit frustrated, but he looks at the camera none the less.
It turns out you were wrong, this turned out to be better than food.
And so, you all enjoy cake, talking and fun times.
As the party finishes, you get a chance to privately talk to-

"Ah, you're busy, what a shame. I really would have liked to show you the special occurrence."
Special occurrence?
"Yes, it's an alignment of the moon, other nearby planetoids and such. Legend has it that this alignment summons things from other worlds" Ozpin says with a small smile.
What? Truly?
"Well, it's just a legend, though, people have found odd items and such during the times it's happened." Ozpin says taking a sip from his mug.
Such as?
"Well, there was a time where a scroll-like device was found. It ran off a different power source than dust and it was quickly sent for study. Sadly, It was soon stolen and no one has seen anything like it since." Ozpin says with a frown.
It was stolen? Did anyone ever find out who was behind it?
"No, but whoever stole it managed to find a safe and secure path that would easily allow them to escape undetected. It was heavily guarded by many highly advanced security measures, I believe that was around 10 years ago?" Ozpin says
What a shame, still, is he certain that the "alignment" caused it?
"No, it's only a theory and no one really believes it brings over things from different worlds" Ozpin says with a chuckle.
It could actually be a real phenomenon, though.
"Perhaps, your little "adventure" does bring a bit of credibility to the theory." He says with a small smile.
Could it be?
"I had hoped we could triangulate where exactly the perfect place to view and study this event, the lights that appear really do look quite nice." Ozpin says with a sigh.
Why did he want you of all people to come with him?
"Well, I had hoped you may be able to notice something. In any case, the next alignment will be in 15 years. I do hope we keep in touch" Ozpin says with a smile.
You nod.
"So, what exactly have you chosen as your challenge?" Ozpin says switching the topic.
You smile.
Simple, who can last the longest without a cup of coffee.
"Oh? My, my, you think you're the first to try such a thing?" Ozpin replies with a chuckle.
Are you not?
"No, many have asked the same thinking they would receive an easy win." Ozpin says with a smile.
Can you choose again?
"No, you made your choice. As this challenge would never end until one of us drinks or dies, I will put a 3-hour time limit on this." Ozpin says as he places his mug by the tables edge.
Why 3 hours?
"I do have other things to finish and I had planned for a myriad of challenges, some of them would have required quite a bit of time to complete." He replies
Really, how much time did he put aside for this?
"Do not worry, even with the 3-hour time limit, we will still have enough time for what I have planned." Ozpin says.
And so, you spend 3 hours with Ozpin. Neither of you drinks coffee during this time, instead, you watch as Ozpin goes about his business.
He receives a few calls from friends and you even hear him talking to a "Crow?"
Hearing your voice, the "Crow?" asks Ozpin who you were.
You introduce yourself and the mysterious man begins to laugh.
"Good luck, kid. I suggest you start practicing how to run really fast." Is what he tells you before hanging up.
Eventually, Ozpin informs you that the time limit has expired and since neither of you drank coffee, it's a draw.
What exactly does that mean for the test, though?
"Well, first, your reward." Ozpin says.
Reward? But it was a draw.
"Yes, so, we both win" He tells you with one of his knowing smiles.
What exactly does that entail?
"Simple, as we both won, I also get a reward. If you feel that the reward is not something you like, we can cancel it and have neither of us win" Ozpin says with a tiny smile.
Ok, so what is the reward?
"We both ask each other a question and answer. How truthful you are in answering me will determine how truthful I am in answering you." He says with a small smile.
That does seem fair.
"Yes, but what exactly will I be asking you, I'm sure you're wondering what it will be" Ozpin replies with a knowing smile.

Looking at both bikes, you come to a decision. You'll save your money for now, perhaps you can come back later and buy a better bike or have Talitha make you one?
Either way, you won't be using money on anything in this store.
As you turn to leave, the owner once more tries to persuade you to buy the cheap bike. He asks if you have a girlfriend.
You tell him you have multiple, unless he means the romantic kind, in that case, you have none.
Taking your answer in stride, he informs you that the 900 Lien bike has a nice rear end seat for any lucky girls you might want to ride with.
He continues by saying that the bike was made in such a way that they would have to hold on to you or fall off.
Some of his points were rather good, after all, if someone was seeking to attract a female, would decreasing the distance between their bodies not help with that?
At any rate, you had already made up your mind, so, you declined his offer and wished him a good day.
