Chapter 176 - Chapter 176: A New Pet

"Why do you want to bring this shit back?" Ashley asked as she saw the Hydra suspended in the air.

"Because I think that your little assistant needs a little more assistance than just a high tier. Not to mention you already know what unfolds later."

Andrew mused as he made his way back to the stern as he stood opposite to Sevyn. Ashley looked at Sevyn before a light smile appeared on her face.

Realizing what Andrew meant, she gave off a light sigh. "Very well. I understand however if it throws it's attitude at me, I won't hesitate to kill it again."

She raised her left hand slightly and a faint blue whisper of air floated ever so gently towards the Hydra. Sevyn felt a faint presence in it however Andrew's net actions came as a shock to her.

He raised his own hand as he placed it on her shoulder before running his palm on her cheek. "This won't hurt as much." He mused softly.

She felt a faint mind numbing pain on her brain which dissipated after a short while. "Oh, I see what you're doing." Ashley concluded with her tone indicating her surprise.

A faint purple aura emanated from Andrew's palm towards the Hydra. Multiple cracks of lightning could be seen running all over it's body. It started from a deep azure blue which later altered to a deep purple tint.

*ROAR*

The Hydra gave off a loud roar that permeated through the air as it regained life once more. 'Woah!' Sevyn was baffled with the scene however the two saw it as something rather casual.

The Hydra's three heads looked confused as they surveyed their surroundings. Their once deep blue eyes were now purple which made it come off as more mystical and dazzling.

It opened it's three mouths at it stared at the cabin boat, ready to fire. "It's like dealing with a child." Ashley sighed with a hint of annoyance in her tone. "Well I did erase it's conciseness and replace it with someone else's."

"This is rather expected. The strive to maintain control is natural in nature however it won't last long." Andrew finished off as he raised his hand and made a casual snap.

*Snap*

*ROAR*

A magnificent blue beam of light shot at the cabin boat only to crash hard into a green light and hazy barrier. Sevyn's peripheral was covered with a bright blue beam which overtime lost it's color.

She felt a light connection with the Hydra. The beam slowed down in terms of magnanimity till it came to a complete stop. "How do you feel?" Ashley asked lightly as her hand rested on Sevyn's shoulder.

"Hah!" Her breathes seemed rigorous and heavy to which Ashley made a light tap on her body. The tension that seemed swelling on her face subsided greatly as her eyes landed on the Hydra.

Another snap from Andrew followed which took down the barrier. Stretching her arms out into sea. The Hydra seemed in a daze as it lowered it's three heads down to the same level as the boat cabin.

The unruly malevolence and wildness was evident in it's eyes as it looked at Sevyn. Despite that, she stretched out her hand till it came into contact with the main head. The eyes of the Hydra closed as it seemed to calm down.

'Finally.' Andrew mused as he saw the scene. 'You know that they are going to investigate this, right?' Ashley's voice rang in her head. 'I'm counting on it. Not to mention the unwanted visitor we have in Bramblewood.'

'Yeah, I'd forgotten about that. It seems that Hedon is rather close to them than we are.' Ashley added as her eyes landed on Sevyn's figure. A small smile crept on her face. 'It's them I'm worried about rather than Hedon.'

Andrew mused as the other heads were feeling Sevyn's soft and calm hands which seemed to pacify the rage and relentlessness that seemed buried deep within it.

"Hahaha!" A laugh escaped her lips as Sevyn saw this. "Consider it a gift from your benefactors." Ashley smiled it off to which Sevyn turned around. "I can't thank you enough." She mused as she stopped herself from bowing to the two.

"The crack has been unattended for some time. Even if the hydra goes back, it can only hold it for some time before it falls to the demons below. However you can keep it as a pet for now. I'll send the girls over to help you out."

Andrew finished off as he made his way back to the cockpit as he tried to start the engine once more.

"Oh, and there is a lady I want to introduce you to. She'll be back by the time you get back."

*ROAR*

A loud roar emerged from the Hydra which beamed a dazzling light show which had a blend of purple and blue coming from the three mouths. A warm smile came from Sevyn's lips as she saw this.

The cabin boat roared back to life as it made it's way away from the demonic crack. The Hydra seemed to delve back to the dark abysmal depths of the ocean.

As Andrew controlled the boat, Ashley made her way to Sevyn who had taken a seat. She was still amused that she had gain control over the Hydra.

Ashley sat comfortably next to her as she looked far into the distance. 'Wait. Why are we going back there?' She mused as eyes landed back to Sevyn.

"The Hydra could help you with your aquatic defenses not to mention with it's wings, it should help you greatly however I overlooked something." She stretched her hands, wrapping with Sevyn's.

A faint lightheadedness over came Sevyn as she felt something foreign traverse through her body. However knowing that it was Ashley, her mind was at ease.

"Just try and relax." Those were the last words that rang through her ears before her vision turned black and her head rested slowly on the comfy bench.

Ashley made her way to the cockpit with her arms wrapping on Andrew's back. Her fingers dug into his chest with her head resting on her back before resting on his shoulder.

Her words a whisper as they rang through Andrew's ears. "There is nothing on that island. I've checked." As the boat jumped up and down on the waves as it was being pushed relentlessly by Andrew, a response shot back to her.

"There's something else I can do with it. Consider it a canvas for what I am about to do."

"Oh, if you say so. But what about the worms on it? Sure Sevyn will will be up by the time we get there but I'll just kill them again like last time."

"Well maybe you should have covered your tracks, darling. It's not just here. Even back at the main land, at the cave that you devoured all those souls, there are still searches running about that as well."

"They're worms regardless. So what if they do find out, what are they going to do?" Ashley asked as she slowly nibbled on Andrew's ear. She could feel him wriggling, trying to get away from her.

"Hahaha! My darling, I spoil you too much." He mused as he turned around to face Ashley. Controlling the boat with his will was a piece of cake for him.

"Chuu~"

A soft kiss rang through the air, a testament of the intimate exchange the two had. "Hup!" Ashley hopped onto Andrew's torso as the two were locked into each other's embrace.

Ashley's back was pressed against the wall as another kiss rang once more. Ashley brushed her finger against Andrew's hair. "It seems that your hair has gotten a little too out of hand. I'll have to fix it when we're alone."

A smile radiated from her to which he pulled her hair once more, allowing her hair to fall freely reaching above her waistline. His fingers dug deep into her thighs through her clothes before another kiss rang through the air.

"Mmmh..." Engrossed in their activities, they seemed oblivious to the world around them. Looking behind him, Ashley could see the island not far off and along with it, some boats that were beached onshore.

"It seems that we're arriving." She mused as her eyes locked with Andrew's. Andrew pulled back from the wall giving Ashley room to fall back to her feet. Andrew cupping his hands onto her face, giving her light kiss on her forehead which she revelled in.

The boat came to a stop at the shores an along with it, it had attracted a lot of attention from those already onboard the island.

"Ugh..." Sevyn groaned as she woke back up only to realize that they had arrived at the island. "My lady." Andrew mused as he helped both Ashley and Sevyn off.

Sevyn was a little off put by what had happened this Andrew took the liberty to help her stabilize as he held her hand.

"Hump!!" Ashley crashed hard into Andrew chest making the two ladies wrap around his arms. It wasn't long before those present on the island made their way to the shore.

"Your majesty." Several sounds resounded through the air in unison as their eyes landed on Sevyn. The subject in question seemed a little dazed as she has yet to respond to such a remark however Andrew decided to take it for her.

"She's a little light headed for now however I do appreciate it. If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing here?" Those present were dressed in white robes, clearly members of the church.

However none of them seemed ready to answer to his question. "What?! Do you want me to kill you?!" Ashley asked with a hint of rage in her voice.

Their faces seemed tense as they heard this. Most of them were on the fourth tier however given that they couldn't get a reading off the trio, it was clear that they were off a higher tier.

"It is not that we're permitted to hand out such information." One of them spoke fervently as they intentionally avoided looking at Ashley.

"Who is the leader of this little party?" Andrew asked as he looked around. The island seemed on the precipice of death, all of the fauna was dead and decomposed as it had all rotted with all the flora rotting away.

It was an ugly sight overall which made Ashley wonder as to why Andrew would bother himself on coming here. "The Saintess isn't here however her representative is."

A sarcastic look appeared on Andrew's face as he heard this. Not only did the point not answer his question but also it felt like a waste of his time.

He looked around before making a small snap with hIs fingers.

"Argghh!!!" A grunt came from an individual who crashed face first into the sand before scurrying to get back on his feet. "Wha- What?!" He seemed rather shocked before his eyes landed on the trio in front of him.

"My Queen!" He noted as he took a slight bow. "Huh?" Sevyn sighed as she clutched her head. The feeling wasn't painful, however she could barely engage with her senses. She felt blind and disoriented however the feeling subsided overtime.

Looking at the person in front of her, she expressed her respect. "Bertram, it's a pleasant surprise to meet you." She mused as her eyes landed onto his figure before landing on the rest of those present.

She was already aware of this investigations as she herself was on board with this idea. The idea was initially proposed by the Saintess of the church as they had at first thought that the island was as a result of the demonic crack.

However due to the high concentration of mana corrupted density near the crack, they couldn't study it up close thus the nearest piece of mass of land was this island however even this island seemed corrupted as well.

"Rest assured that the results of the island aren't as a result of the demonic crack. Now you're presence is no longer required here so you may all take your leave." Andrew finished off as he looked at Bertram.
