Chapter 34: Ruin Earth...
––––––––––––––––––––––––
The earth shook violently and a beacon of light flashes in the sky for a split second.
Naro narrowed her eyes. She felt an monstrous amount of pressure pushing her down.
It weaken her body greatly. Her mana circulation thrown to chaos! Naro was temporary unable to used spell for now.
*Wooosh*
Chunks of unknown flesh fell from the sky, like a meteor shower but in the millions. The size of each one was comparable to a four stories building.
Naro stared in awe, she never seen such a beautiful yet horrifying sight! It made her wonder just who was the one causing such a scene in the sky.
Naro held the fragile woman in her arms, carrying her in Princess style.
"Human! Get your feet off my tree!" The Elf shouted in the distance.
Naro turn and glance at the two unreliable being that's been causing trouble since the beginning.
A massive tree. The size of a building entered her sight. Two figures could be seen standing on its branch, one clearly annoyed and irritated. The other very calm and composed.
*Swish*
The shadow of the tree instantly rise under the human feet, turning into sharp pointy shadow spike.
The Human quickly jumped away and went towards a more brighter side of the tree branch, illuminated by the sun.
"You have to try harder then that, shadow lady" The Human teased in a playful tone.
His ordinary appearance had completely change to a noble white Knight. He hold a sword on his right hand that radiate divine light, countering the Elf shadow attributes with ease.
It was immediately clear which side had the advantage.
'Unreliable, and an embarrassment to be Master's servant and knight. Their lucky that Master spared them'
Naro mocked the two. Finding their action utterly disrespectful.
Naro stared at the sky once more. Chunks of Meteor flesh were heading towards their direction. Naro clicked her tongue in annoyance.
She raised her right hand, holding the [World stick] tightly in her palm. She swung the sword, creating an invisible slash.
*Swish!*
The meteor was cut in half, sending both side to narrowly miss Naro and the fragile woman in her left arm.
*BAMMM!*
The meteor exploded. Chunk of rock and unknown flesh was sent flying towards her direction
Naro flapped her bat wings and floated in the sky. The debris miss them by a hair breath away.
The meteor was bigger then she had expected it to be. Instead of her slash being bigger then it, the slash was equal in length.
She had more or less expected her invisible slash to obliterated the meteor instead of cutting it in half.
"I underestimated the size of those chunk of flesh. Despite being flesh they are still lethal to Master's mother"
Naro muttered to herself, disappointed at her miss calculation. She felt that a punishment is appropriate but Master's orders are above any priority.
"Destroy" A voice echoed from the sky.
Her body tremble, danger rise to the maximum, and dread filled her mind.
Naro gaze upward and saw a horrifying beam of light radiating Destruction and Death!
Her eyes wide, her face stiffened and her skin beginning to burn from too much light being absorbed.
It covered the entire sky. Naro instinct scream at her to run away, and her vampire white skin was starting to burn from the intense light.
No wait, the light... Was Approaching Her!!
Naro gritted her teeth, with no choice nor time to cast a spell(Mouth too slow to cast), she cut her arms and drawn blood from it.
Without hesitation she immediately condense the blood to form a barrier, protecting her and the fragile woman from the heating light...
*CRACK*
Just as she form the blood barrier, it already begun to crack. Naro pale skin were becoming paler by the second.
But it did the job of protecting the fragile woman and giving her time.
Naro gently placed the woman down. She stood up and crossed her finger, positioning it between her eyes.
"The lower reach of evil,"
"Devil among devil"
"Thou who seek the devil protection"
"Shell bear the consequences beyond thine wills"
"The Incarnate Devil"
"Protect the both of us!"
....
Naro slammed her two crossed finger against the ground with all her strength.
*Bam!*
The floor cracked and between the gap shone a red demonic light.
Naro poured all her mana towards the ground, the demonic light grow brighter and brighter. Her already pale skin, turn pure white.
Her mana was suck dry, with a thud. She collapsed to the ground, completely paralyse and unable to move.
*Swish!*
A demonic circle surrounded them, it spun at a rapid speed before lava rise upwards, hitting the blood barrier and fusing with it.
It fix the cracked and eventually become stable.
Naro sigh in relief, her body twitching in pain and the lack of Mana, damage her body and mana pool greatly.
Combine with the lost of blood. She was utterly exhausted and in severe pain.
Her heart beating rapidly just to keep her body alive. Its fortunate that she was an High Ranking Vampire or else she'd be dead by the lack of Mana.
*Crack*
Small crack form on the demonic barrier. Naro eyes widen in shock, her face froze.
*Crack, crack, crack*
The crack spread outwards, forming a spider web like crack. Her barrier was about to shatter at any moment!
Naro eyes dilated, she turn her gazes towards the fragile woman. She bit her lips and manipulate the remaining blood inside her to forcefully move her body.
It hurt, but Naro was more afraid of disappointing her first Master then the pain she was feeling.
Naro covered the fragile woman with her body, her bat wings folding into a ball to protect the her from all side. Naro's blood move smoothly to fill in the gap.
She forcefully move her free arm and pulled out the mirror from her shadow.
*Shatter!*
Her barrier broke, Naro throw the mirror towards the light. Hoping that the reflective mirror would deflect it.
*BOOOOM!!*
Pain, the pain of being burn by the sun.
Naro was immune to the sunlight despite being a vampire. But this wasn't ordinary sunlight. It was the light of Destruction.
Her vision turn blurry, and without realising, she fell unconscious...

POV Narrator
––––––––––––––––––––––––
Earth had turn into nothing more then a wasteland. Half of its surface was molten lava and the other half was the constant earthquake and shower of meteor flesh.
Naro body is gone. Half her head lay beneath the rubble. As for Hiko's mother..?
....
The mirror was shattered, Its handles and shard torn to pieces.
The World Stick was nowhere to he seen, likely obliterated to ashe.
*WOOOSH!!*
Sonic boom echoed, trail of yellow were left behind. And a suffocating aura of Malice plunge everything to the ground.
Hiko appeared, standing stationary above ground. Her gaze scanning the surrounding and locked on her mother figure...
She was stuck under the debris of rock. Her body severely injured.
*Swish*
Hiko vanish, her figure reappearing and disappearing. One by one, she grab each debris and thrown them away, repeating it until the area was cleared of them.
Why she did this instead of using her skill?
Hiko is only one years old, her knowledge and understanding of her skill is completely novice level or beginner level despite them being Transcendence or advance rank.
She has completed mastery of them, yes. But not the knowledge of how to used them properly.
In other words, Hiko trust her body more then her skill.
She gently carried her injured mother in her arms. Alive and breathing but severely injured.
She held her like fragile glass. Adding too much force or moving too fast will kill Her if Hiko's not careful.
Echos of scream, and constant earthquake. Her surrounding was no longer a hospital. It was a wasteland.
Hiko bit her lips in regret. Even though she held back, the aftermath was devastating. Her attack which targeted only one entity, had resulted in this.
She almost destroyed earth.
"Destroy and Absolute Destruction... I'm never using these skill again" Hiko muttered, her tone trembling. Finding her own strength terrifying!
What would have happen if she had set it to [group target] instead of [single target]?
Would it have destroyed earth? No, that's stupid. She could have easily destroy an entire galaxy or multiple of them if they were in her line of sight.
And her sight were far and clear. One glance and she already know where Ra main consciousness was hiding.
...
Beneath Earth and at the center of Earths Core, Ra tremble in fear. She felt like someone was watching her, and its gazes were terrifying!
Hiko stared down and found Naro's head half intact.
Her eyes flickered a pink glow.
[Naro HP: 0.12% / 100% (-0.05%/minit]
[Loyal till the end, dying for the sake of her Master's order]
The panel showed a video of the past, Naro's effort in protecting her mother deeply affected Hiko's impression of Naro.
Hiko nodded, her [Eyes Of Truth] had reveal what happened while she was gone.
Turns out, Naro had used her body to protect her mother.
Hiko felt grateful that she had used the Summoning scroll. One could imagine what would have happen if she had just left her mother alone after just using one item on her.
Hiko raised her hand above the vampire head, yellow string materialise on each of her fingers.
*Wooosh*
It wrapped the vampires head and merge with it.
"[Puppeteer]" Hko exclaim.
[Puppeteer]
• Puppet: Turn any creature, loyal or not into a puppet.
—Note that said creature has to be below Hiko's grade or the creature has to be at death door in order to turn them into a puppet.
• Puppets String: Allows Hiko to control the puppets, but if it is cut, the puppet will be free.
—Note that all string will need to be cut in order for the puppet to be free.
—The color of the string depends on how durable or powerful the user *Hair Strands* is.
—Example, Hiko's string is yellow because her hair is yellow. If she unleash her true power, turning her hair to pure white then her string will naturally turn pure white.
—Basically, the string is as strong and durable as her hair strands. Or it could actually be her actual hair... Where was I even going with this?
• Dependent Puppets: A Puppet cannot die and will Regenerate indefinitely. Unless the string attached on the puppets body is cut off or the body is completely obliterated, leaving no string to attach to. Then the puppet is dead. ]
....(///That is so freaking long!)
Naro's head begin to regenerate at visible speed, starting from the bone, nervous system, muscles and finally skin.
The regeneration was slow in Hiko's opinion, it took Naro a whole hour for her to regenerate completely to perfect form.
Her `Mana` did drain a bit, though it was nonexistent to a OP freak like her.
Fortunately Her `Mana` had long since turn to Original Purity due to how pure her mana had become, even purer then Pure Mana itself!
She could easily regenerate her Mana even if she was in a world without Mana. Just like where she is now.
She could give Mana to a manaless creature without consequences. Her Mana Regeneration is extremely high, enough to cast one fireball a trillion times without losing 1% or even 0.2% of her mana.
Its possible that she could turn a Manaless world to a Mana world filled with pure mana that everyone could used.
Enough rambling.
"Master, please punish this Inferior maid for being unable to follow Master's order"
Naro kneeled down, her tone filled with dejection in herself.
The order was simple, protect and not leave a scratch on Hiko's mother. Yet she failed. This was utterly embarrassing.
Compared to her achievement in the Summoning world, where she need to kill a dragon to be fully called a battle maid of Grade S. She felt utterly disappointed that she couldn't even complete a simple task to protect Hiko's mother.
She might as well be called a grade D maid for being unable to complete a simple order.
Hiko looked down on Naro. Her mother was severely injured but it wasn't fatal. She could heal it with her [Temporary Enhancement] skill.
What's more, she already saw the truth or more like memories of what happen.
Hiko felt regret...
If she had known this would happen, she would have push the Dimensional Demon further away and then attack it.
"Haaaahhh~" Hiko sighed, caressing her mothers hair.
Her palm shone a gray light resembling her gray soul. They say that the eyes are the windows of the Soul, but Hiko? She doesn't follow such rules. Its not even her body.
"Absolute Heal: Constant Regeneration" Hiko randomly created a spell through her skill [Temporary Enhancement]
Her mother's wound started to close, if she calculated. Her injuries would fully heal in a few hours.
With her concern of mother out of the way, she focus back on the maid that was still kneeling in front of her.
From her skill [Eyes Of Truth] Hiko didn't fault the maid for being unable to protect her mother. Naro had used the mirror of spell reflection, yet it's shattered on the floor. Completely useless against the aftermath of her [DESTROY] skill.
"Get up, compered to the two I summon. You are far more useful" Hiko exclaim.
The Human and Shadow Elf were probably dead. Hiko didn't bother trying to revive them, she didn't even know them that well.
Naro obediently stood up. Her eyes flickering confusion before it's quickly replace by admiration for Hiko's mercy towards her.
"This Inferior maid will not fail Master again" Naro exclaim, her eyes filled with tears at being forgiven by her master.
Hiko nonchalantly nodded, a hint of familiarity flicker in her eyes. The way Naro acted, reminded her of Zero.
She shake her head and gaze at her surrounding, she frown.
"I can't let mother wake up and find everything destroyed..." Hiko muttered.
Despite all her power, she didn't have the ability to *fix* things. The best she could do is destroy stuff and give enhancement.
Was there a way to fix this mess?
....Then a idea popped up in her head.
'I think there's something in my inventory. Something about Past and skill scroll? I just have to check and see'
Hiko eyes flickered a pink light, and her inventory were displayed in front of her.
There was a lot of item inside, reaching the thousand and even millions if she counted the gold coin in her inventory.
But that wasn't the focus here.
Her eyes landed on the first item in the inventory.
[Past Life Return]
What was this item..?
