Aurora didn't respond, she didn't want to end it here but she didn't know if these feelings really belonged to her
Aurora entered her room and closed the door behind her, she then immediately fell down onto the bed
She laid there her head spinning as she wondered where it all went wrong
She then muttered to herself hoarsely
"Why did this happen?"
Xuanyin and Arc began heading back, Arc eyes were red yet he tried to hold himself back from crying
Xuanyin looked at Arc as they walked, she felt sad for him; he was unaware of his physique and never restrained it properly causing this entire scene
Once they returned to the door Xuanyin dismissed the servants back to their rooms having them take ink-star with them
She then followed Arc who had been walking towards his bed, the moment he arrived there he could no longer hold his tears
He began to cry as he lied on the bed, Xuanyin then pulled Arc into her arms
She tried to comforting him letting him now that he wasn't alone, she was here with him, and she wouldn't blame him for what had happened
"It's alright, im here; you aren't alone i won't leave"
Arc drifted into sleep as she whispered gently in his ear
When Arc woke up the next morning he found that Xuanyin had remained the entire night not letting him go for even a second
Arc turned to see her sleeping face as she desperately held onto him, his movements seemed to have been to much as they woke her up
She opened her eyes and they saw each other. Arc didn't feel so alone anymore, he leaned in gently and kissed her
Arc ran his hands across Xuanyin's body as he pulled her closer, shifting his position to be on top of her, his entire body was pressed against hers
Xuanyins eyes showed nothing but love, she didn't have to put a deadly weapon of the abyss nor be a harden draconic warrior when in Arc's arms,
she could be vulnerable with him, she kissed him as he covered her entire body, his hands running up and down searching for her weak points
Suddenly Arc stopped as he spoke softly "i'm so sorry, I"
Before he could say the rest of his apology Xuanyin kissed him before saying
"I have spend the entirety of my life manipulated by the abyss i couldn't resist, you couldn't control it i won't hate you for that"
Her expression turned bleak as she continued speaking
"I have been alone for so long so agonizingly long, i don't want to leave you or ink-star"
"I can help you, i can find a technique that can limit or disable your physiques effects"
She then spoke laughed lightly before saying
"You won't be getting rid of me this easily"
This caused a chuckle to escape Arc's mouth before he spoke softly
"Thankyou"
He then leaned in closer beginning to kiss her, his hands trailing every inch of her body
A few hours late Arc lied in bed with Xuanyin, she was somewhat out of breath yet had a smile on her face as her head rested on his bare chest,
inches above her head dozens of visible bite marks could be seen on Arc's neck
Arc's hand rubbed her head gently as they laid there, Xuanyin looked towards Arc and spoke lovingly
"I never thought I would ever be able to be this happy, it feels like i'm dreaming"
Arc smiled as he ran his hands through her hair, he then spoke softly "thankyou, i don't deserve this"
Xuanyin's smile gently as she bit him on the neck once more, Arc patted her head softly as she drank his blood
Arc then thought to himself
'Thankfully she hasn't been drinking to much; with the amount of times she has bit me i would've died if not for that"
After a while they got up and began getting dressed, as the negotiations were completed yesterday; so the party would officially begin either tonight or tomorrow morning
After getting dressed Xuanyin seemed to hesitate as she went to speak before finally saying
"We can leave if you want, you don't have to stay in the black mountain sect"
Arc froze slightly as he realized the only thing that kept him in the sect was Aurora, he had already planned to leave before being with her
Arc sighed gently as he spoke slowly "we can head back with them so i can pack my things, then we'll go wherever you want"
Xuanyin grabbed Arc hand and rushed towards the door, before stopping and speaking
"Do you still want to fight in the tournament?"
"Yeah"
Xuanyin nodded slightly before her horns and tail disappeared into thin air, her regal dress transformed into robes similar to Arc's
Seeing this Arc was confused until he heard Xuanyin say
"Your opponents would just give up or go easy on you if they knew i was your partner"
"That would be to boring for you, so i'll let you enjoy the competition in peace"
Arc smiled seeing as Xuanyin was really making an effort to change, she was thinking about more than just herself
Arc walked over and pressed her against the wall and began kissing her, she almost seemed to have melted into his arms
They then exited the room and started enjoying a date together, since there were many activities available for the "guests"
Arc and Xuanyin had a blast going around playing games and eating food,
Though Xuanyin found Arc tastier than food they had available at the sect,
Arc exhausted tried producing more blood using ki Xuanyin' hungry was insatiable, causing him to feel rather weak at the moment
Xuanyin noticed this and felt bad but she couldn't help herself, it was so delicious and he never says no, he pats her head gently wanting her to be happy
She sighed gently as she gave Arc spirit energy, as she thought to herself
'thankfully Arc has a strange body that can heal rapidly'
During their date the sect master saw them, Xuanyin's month to Arc's neck, He froze slightly before rushing towards Aurora's room to find out what happened
Aurora felt tears form in her eyes yet she didn't cry, she sat her arms wrapped around her legs silently
She wasn't sure if she had been correct in breaking up with Arc,
She sighed gently
At this moment the sect master arrived he rushed to Aurora side and upon seeing him, Aurora felt like she couldn't hold it in anymore,
she cried on his shoulder as he comforted her just like he did when she was a child
"I know you and Arc were together, what happened?"
She froze slightly before explaining the situation from the beginning, hearing the story the sect master became silent
He sighed gently before speaking
"This is a shame, Arc was a victim to his own physique; you don't trust your emotions while Xuanyin would rather live in a this faked love that loneliness she once knew"
Aurora remained silent as the sect master asked one question
"Do you regret being with Arc?"
she looked up slightly muttering to herself seemingly unaware of the answer "Do I regret being with Arc?"
"No"
Aurora spoke her voice barely audible
"So why did you leave him?"
The sect master spoke calmly letting her sort it out within her mind
She had to confront her inner demons; if she sank into her pain, it would be devastating to her cultivation
"It's wasn't my emotions"
She muttered slightly
"Oh? Does that mean you know when his physique awakened?
"Do you know when his physique started affecting you?
The sect master spoke inquisitively asking many questions regarding the "presence" of his physique
Aurora stopped to think for a moment, her mind rushed through her memories seemingly searching for the first moment she felt anything about Arc
"When i first met him he was still a mortal martial artist, i did find him cute and he kept flirting with me"
Aurora muttered softly
The sect leader froze slightly as he wasn't completely sure if Arc was a good influence even before his physique
He sighed gently, as he thought to himself 'Arc and Aurora are both adults who can make decisions for themselves it's not for me to interfere'
He will only play his part as a teacher and mentor to Aurora to assure her cultivation doesn't stagnate due to this
While the sect master had this inner turmoil he didn't stop speaking as he asked "what caused you to start a relationship with him?"
Aurora froze slightly as she spoke embarrassed
"I sensed him drawing pictures of me, so i looked through his notebook after he came back from a sect mission"
"He drew me in a beautiful wedding dress, as i eclipsed the sun"
She mumbled as her face turned warm at the memory
The sect master felt bitter watching his "daughter" in this state but he tried maintained neutrality in his voice as he spoke
"Do you want to see him again?"
Aurora didn't answer this time, she remained silent unsure of what she thought
She seemed to have begun to mutter up the confidence to speak but before she could get a word out the sect master spoke
"that answer isn't mine to hear"
Hearing this Aurora laughed loudly, she was never someone to hesitate, so why was she here crying to herself?
She stood up and walked away to find Arc, they would have a conversation and what happened next would determine their relationship
Should they would work things out or separate, no room for regrets, or change only moving forward
Xuanyin who was in the middle of biting Arc on the neck suddenly turned around quickly causing Arc to get confused until he saw Aurora appear
Xuanyin's expression turned defensive as she stood before Arc blocking Aurora from any possible attacks towards him
Aurora raised her hands as she spoke " i'm not here to fight"
Xuanyin snorted before responding
"I don't care, leave or you'll die"
Suddenly Arc played his hand on Xuanyin's shoulder calming her down
She muttered slightly as Arc calmed her down, before saying
"fine, speak"
Seeing how Arc gave Xuanyin affection she grew jealous, but she tried to remain calm knowing Xuanyin may kill her
She exhaled slightly before asking
"Do you still love me Arc?"
Arx froze slightly as Xuanyin aura spread out seemingly preparing to attack Aurora
Xuanyin knew the answer and it wasn't one she wanted to hear, Aurora was trying to ruin her relationship with Arc
Xuanyin started shaking in rage, scales began to cover her body; as she turned less "human"
Before she could complete her transformation she felt light kisses on her neck calming her down
She smiled lightly as her form turned back to normal; she the turned stern and speaking
"Leave now, before i kill you"
Aurora her eyes never leaving Arc spoke once more seemingly more brave than before
"I will not leave until i have my answer"
Arc felt conflicted knowing this would open the door to pain but he spoke truthfully
"Yes"
His voice was hoarse and his hands shook as they began to wrap around Xuanyin seemingly to find strength in her
Aurora spoke once more her voice unable to hide her pain
"So why did you sleep with her"
Xuanyin froze slightly at this moment as she herself wasn't completely aware of Arc's answer
She knew he felt something that caused a change in him, something that caused him to want to bring her joy even at the threat of losing his life
Arc lips quivered silently not knowing what to say, he sighed gently before speaking, his voice barely higher than a whisper
"Because i'm greedy, i didn't want anyone else to see Xuanyin that way"
His statement bounced around the room Xuanyin's face turned red and she looked up at Auoroa gloating
Aurora spoke, her eyes covered in tears with clear pain in her voice "did you think you could have both?"
Xuanyin smiled lightly as she spoke gloating "both?, he chose me if you couldn't tell, so get lost"
Before anyone could interject Xuanyin spoke once more with visible rage on her face
"You don't get to come here and ruin my relationship with Arc after you already gave him up"
Aurora hearing this hesitated slightly before speaking softly
"I regret what i said before, even if his physique did accelerate my emotions"
"I found Arc cute before it awakened, it was possible even without that we could have been together "
Xuanyin cut her off attempting to gain control of the discussion
"To bad he already has me, and you can't do anything about it; your far to weak"
Aurora began to shake in rage, her nails digging into her palms, she didn't deny it, The difference in their power was unmistakable
Arc wrapped his Arms around Xuanyin, attempting to keep her wrath under control
He spoke hoarsely his eyes bloodshot
"Why bring this up? To taunt me? To provoke Xuanyin?"
Aurora sighed gently, as she spoke quietly " i still want to be with you"
Suddenly Aurora felt a hand over her throat, Xuanyin had escaped Arc's hold and her scaled hand wrapped around Aurora's neck as her claws dug into her skin
Xuanyin spoke arrogantly, " speak all you want but i'm not giving him back he is mine"
Aurora smiled lightly as she spoke seemingly changing the topic
"You have seen how great Arc's potential is haven't you?"
Xuanyin nodded slightly, her grip tightening as Aurora continued speaking
"His talent is unheard of, even without mentioning the other abilities granted by his physique"
"without a sliver of a doubt, i believe Arc has the potential to reach the stage of Earth immortal"
"At that point, if Arc wanted another woman, would you stop him, or would you share him with her?"
Aurora asked
Xuanyin stopped slightly her grip loosening as she thought to herself and muttering
"An earth immortal is qualified to have mutual wives"
Dragon's were a species that above all else respected strength, strength meant everything, if Arc truly reached that level Xuanyin would always obey him
Aurora smiled lightly as she spoke again "and with his physique he will attract attention, women will always approach him and you won't be able to stop all of them"
"but if i were around Arc, we can stop others from getting close and Arc would be ours alone"
At this Xuanyin paused slightly thinking before snorting and saying
"If he was a earth immortal we would be his"
"So why not be his now? The potential is there, and with us around who could ever stop him before reaching his potential"
Aurora spoke negotiating with Xuanyin
Arc stood there stunned at the extreme mental gymnastics that these women were coming up with in their heads
Arc while extremely confused he was not against this, he loved them both; there would be no greater honor in his life than remaining with both of them
Xuanyin remained silent, she turned towards Arc her expression unreadable; she considered it before smugly smiling and speaking
"Only if you can agree to my conditions"
"Okay, what are your conditions"
Aurora heart skipped a beat seeing Xuanyin's expression but she was in too deep to give up now
"I am his wife, you can be his plaything or companion, whatever you human's call that"
Aurora felt pain at that, being automatically placed in second place hurt her pride
"My second condition is that i will have all of his children"
This time Aurora began to tremble in rage at those words that was the most sacred and important act in a relationship
She would never reach Xuanyin's importance in Arc's life if she agreed to these terms,
Seeing Aurora silent Xuanyin didn't stop there, she smiled lightly as she spoke
"Until we return to the black mountain sect you will not lay a hand on Arc"
"You will be by our side and will watch as he holds me, as he kisses me, and you will be quiet"
"I want you to feel pain and jealousy; at the love Arc shows me everyday"
Aurora froze slightly at this moment as she began to dig her nails into her hands; Xuanyin was completely disregarding her pride
Aurora mind rushed as she considered everything, before suddenly deflating and speaking
"Yes, i agree"
The last words she spoke were barely audible as she felt embarrassed to say them
She knew that Xuanyin was making these outrageous demands because she wanted her to say no
Yet this was her only opportunity to be with Arc, by using the dragon's twisted sense of morality she could be with Arc without Xuanyin killing either of them
She then muttered to herself seemingly attempting to convince herself
"When Arc is an earth immortal he will change the terms and make me his wife"
Her face turned red as she clung onto that distant hope
Seeing her agreement Xuanyin felt annoyed but this was for Arc so she didn't get aggressive
She felt Arc's heart rate increases the moment Aurora agreed if she took this away from him after making a deal he would get very mad at her
Still she made a note to subtly remind Aurora of her place from time to time. Nothing extreme just reminding her that she is secondary
Arc felt over the moon somehow they had agreed to share him, he felt as though at any moment Xuanyin would've killed Aurora
It seems that she has begun to get a better grasp of her emotions as even after such a rapid changes in her mind she was able to prevent the abyss from interfering
Before heading back to Arc's room they Xuanyin went to go check on ink-star to make sure everything was alright
She took Arc with her clearly still wary towards Aurora, Aurora wasn't too bothered
She took advantage of this moment to head back to inform the sect master of their agreement, they would met up at Arc's room
They had kinda been ignoring ink-star for the past couple of days leaving him to play with the servants
After checking with him and confirming that he was alright and having a blast, they began heading back to Arc's room
