But something special was within those cracks... Blue lines... Mana lines...
On this continent... Mana isn't being collected by the body, you have to hold the lines to manipulate the mana within the lines to use a line of magic
Those lines have a few uses... But mainly being collected, for builds. You see the flow of mana creates more or less a glue
In one of the alleys 2 boys were sitting besides each other
One we do recognize... The other we dont
The boy on the left has short brown hair and little chains dancing around his finger
While the other is hiding his face in his legs
"Say... Luther... Do we stay as homeless people? It's boring, if mom and dad never sold us for to cover their own debt... We wouldn't be in this predicament"
"I can't say for sure koun, but what I can say is... It was a smart choice to kill the slave master... He was about to sel you... To a fat Prince"
Luther nods in agreement and looks down between his legs
"Why... Is it unfair?"
"What is?" Koun asks curiously but Knows what he means
"You know, life we live... We are always getting used for stuff... Wouldn't it be better to end it all?"
Koun looks at him and back to the ground
"Doing so makes you weak. Follow what they say will be in every world... Someone thinks he knows everything and then everything goes wrong"
Luther nods barely
Then a silence followed
People on the street talk and laugh, the light shines brightly from Surya and Ra
"Those sad faces don't make it more prettier then it already is."
The brothers look up and see a young woman holding a guitar her fingers on the strings.
"No song can be created without a good part"
She smiles and her marking shows on her middle finger
"Be the part that will be smiling"
They look at each other and both sigh
"Sorry... Lady but we are not really looking for music"
The lady keeps smiling
"Alright! Keep the blessed ears wide open"
She walks to the streets and vanishes from their view
"Koun... I'll become an adventurer, I'll collect enough money to get us a house and food!"
"Let me, your big brother be your saviour!"
Luther smiles widely but mostly inspiring to koun, he sees a future in that smile
Koun looks down and smiles softly "sure... I'll help you"
Luther stood up and without even a thought walked into the street, mana lines flickering off and on with every step he took
He took the corner and vanished from sight leaving koun alone, his smile he held vanished and he lifts up his pants on the right leg
He sees a mana string punctured thought and pulsing his blood with heavily pain
"Yet... Unable to move as I see him barely... But he is right he is the one that should act"
He touches the mana and the color vanished for a second and it flows like a waterfall being blocked and unblocked
"Weird... How mana is used... On different parts of the planet..."
He grabs another mana string and looks at it holding it as it moves gentle around
A small spider walks on the wall besides him and a chain pierces his body... But it doesn't kill it
It stays alive and moves up without ever realizing it
The mana string koun held vanished a few moments later and looked at the chain that comes out of his arm
It's red but the further it is the more metallic it becomes
" Chaining... Is nothing more than slaving"

Luther walked across the street people walking past a man who has nothing except his brother
Step after step he continued to walk and reached the adventures guild much later
A building made out of polished stone, golden corners and polished quartz doors
The building felt out of place between the bricks houses, it felt rich to rich
He entered the building and looked around, his clothes didn't fit an adventurer and it didn't fit of someone from this town
His eyes scan across the people, a lot of adventures, some of them having huge weapons on their backs like great swords or great battle axe.
Others held small blades, daggers staffs or even times
Luther knew he didn't need them no weapon or support item to help his magic
He walked further into it reaching a desk with a young female employee
"Welcome young man to the adventures guild! How may I help you" she bowed to him with a welcoming smile
Others looked at him like he was nothing but a Speck of air
"Another kid that sees it as easy"
"He will die fast, like the others"
"Give him a chance, like it will do anything"
He sighed and looked at the female employee and smiles "I am luther, and I'd like to be a adventurer"
The female employee nodded
"My name is Tarisha and I'll be helping you... But first off we need to check your magic and skills!"
She went below the desk and lifted up a large glass ball
"Please young luther press your hand on the glass ball"
Luther did as he was asked and as he pressed it a blue light shined out the ball
"What the! It's so bright!"
"Sorry sorry, it's always like this. But blue... You have a good magic and skills"
"May I ask what I have for magic and skills?"
She nodded and smiles, she looked at him and her light brown eyes locked at him
"Magic: structured wire magic, able to manipulate wires and make them out of metal! Will be able to bind people and make weapons out of it! Great balance between offence and defence

He is silent for a moment
"I got magic? Really? That's awesome!"
He tries to activate but nothing happens
"Huh? How do you do even magic"
"Young Luther, we have removed every environmental mana from the building within... So you may not use the wire magic as you please "
"Environmental mana? What do you mean with that"
Tarisha smiles at him and starts to explain
"Mana exists everywhere, young Luther. In the air, the ground, the walls—even the smallest pieces of matter around you contain it."
"Hold your hands outside when on the streets and you could feel it"
"So... I just take it?" He replied looking at his hands
"In simple terms, yes. Magic does not use the mana inside your body. That mana keeps you alive. Instead, your body reaches outward and draws mana from your surroundings."
"On every continent the way is the same... The only differenve is the execution, we use threads here, a thread I you need to manipulate to use a certain magic"
She explained with a big smile
Luther looked at his hands once more and then tightly shut it
"Do I need to move the threads or just think"
"That depends on the user."
Luther nods and goes outside the building to look up
What he sees is a blue sky, bright blue sky
But that's not like the normal sky
He knows, what he sees are millions of mana threads
Luther reaches out his hand and it starts to glow
