Chapter 4 - Tsundere Father

Yuki woke up feeling sunlight blasting through his window and shining on his body, by his side he saw the plate his mother was holding earlier but now he could see what was inside which seemed to contain something like mashed vegetables with porridge.

He decided to get up and inspect the body he now had cause he had already felt the difference earlier which felt uncomfortable. Towards a far end he saw a mirror near a wardrobe which was his as he could now feel the memories of the original body and he was currently in his room which was almost as big as an apartment in his past life. Looking at the mirror he was surprised at his body features, "I'm so handsome, I could probably make all girls out there fall in love with me" snickered yuki in a narcissistic tone. "Host is a bit more physically endowed than other humans in this world due to the genes of past life" said the system voice suddenly which irked yuki. "What? A bit? Is there anyone out there who could match my beauty?" asked yuki in a surprised voice totaling not minding the fact he was being narcissistic again. "The host will be able to witness for himself the difference after going out" replied the system in it's monotone voice which yuki was now used to just like his new identity.

Yuki decided to dress up and check out how the place looked like even though he had memories of the place, he still felt that it will be nice seeing it for himself. While putting on his clothes, he decided to question the system about it's motive. "What exactly are you and what's your motive?" asked yuki. "I'm the perfect bloodline system and I'm here to support the host" replied the system.

"I know your name what I meant is how does your existence work out…err no, what can you do?" asked yuki. "I'm an existence with it own purpose and aims decided unlike some pitiful existence" retorted the system which made yuki imagine if the system had emotions or was probably human. "Err, never mind that, do you have an interface where I can check out your useful…no I meant your features? Asked yuki with a low voice not wanting to anger the system again now it was sure it had emotions unlike those in mangas. "Yes, host just needs to say status and it will appear" replied the system also ignoring yuki's retort.

By now yuki was already walking through the mansion's hall and decided to check out his status but was interrupted when he saw his mother coming from the end of the hall but this time with a man around the same age as his mother if he had to take a guess.

"Father" said yuki naturally again but this time his tone was filled with a lot more respect than when he called out to his mother earlier. The man besides his mother who was addressed as father just nodded his head to show his acknowledgment but his mother was having none of that and hit his father behind the head.

"Your son drowned and now that you're just seeing him after that this is how you treat him" scolded his mother in a harsh tone which surprised yuki but then remembered that's how the original body's parents behaved with each other, this made him remember his past life parents and imagined if they could've gotten along like the people in front of him right now. His father posed a tough front towards people but deep inside he was soft which was something only his mother and him got to witness.

"Darling, we're In front of yuki can you spare me a little bit?" said his father, hayate Akio in a pleading tone while sighing. "Ehh, is this how you talk to me now" said yuki's mother, suzume Akio obviously not giving his father any face. "I'm sorry I'm sorry okay" said his father realizing he couldn't change his wife's mind while sighing again which piqued yuki's interest and made him realize he wasn't the only person with such habit.

"How are you feeling now?" asked his father trying to turn his wife's attention away towards his son to get spared, which successfully worked. "Ahh, true yuki, me and your father were just coming to check up on you-" said his mother before getting interrupted. "*Cough* *Cough* I was not checking up on him just wanted to tell him not to stop training just because of this small accident" said his father after clearing his throat which earned him a glare from his wife. Realizing he could get into trouble again with his wife he quick added "and maybe to check up on you" but in a low tone which made yuki chuckle even though he tried holding it in.

Yuki found this man to resemble his past life father in some aspects like his cold face, though he never spent much time with the man which he regretted.

"My liege, I've arrived and completed the mission" said a man who just arrived. Yuki recognized this person as his father's subordinate who protected the original yuki from the shadows which earned him the nickname "shadow" from the original yuki and made yuki respect and appreciate his naming sense. Seeing a chance to escape his wife's clutches, hayate quickly utilized it and left with shadow quickly.

"Hmph, that tsundere father of yours" snorted suzume which made her look quite cute. "Since you're now fine, I still have somethings to handle, would you like to come with me?" asked yuki's mother. "No mother, I still have somethings to take care of" said yuki finding a random excuse. "What are you busy with, I'll get the maids or butlers to take care of it for you" said his mother in a caring tone. Realizing how stupid his excuse was, yuki felt embarrassed but continued with the excuse "It's something I can take care of myself no need to trouble the maids and butlers" said yuki as if he was concerned about the servants which earned no suspicion as the original yuki was always concerned about the servants and hated them following him hence why he was not quickly saved when he fell into the pond. "Okay" said his mother after failing to convince him. As his mother left, yuki decided to return to his room to check out the system properly and have a proper introduction and conversation with it or him as the system's voice when showing emotions resembled that of a young boy.
