The room fell silent.
Everyone looked at Tina, who was frozen under Eli's intense gaze. His weathered hand shook as he touched her face.
"How is this possible?" Eli whispered. His eyes filled with tears as he studied every feature of Tina's face.
"You have her eyes, her smile... even the small birthmark near your ear." Elias stepped closer, putting a hand on his father's shoulder.
"Father, please explain. What do you mean she looks like Mother?"
Ms. Juliet shifted nervously in her chair. Her face had gone pale, and she clutched her purse tightly against her chest.
Tina finally found her voice. "I don't understand. Who is Audrey?"
"My wife," Eli said, his voice cracking. "Your mother."
A collective gasp rang through the room. Aurora, who had been watching from beside Elias, felt her heart race. The pieces were starting to fit together.
"That's impossible," Tina shook her head. "My mother died when I was a baby. I grew up in foster care."
