The courtyard fell silent once again.
The gentle laughter that had echoed through the garden had disappeared, leaving only the soft rustling of leaves above them and the distant sound of birds singing somewhere beyond the walls.
Salvador remained still, his eyes fixed on the ivy-covered archway.
His heart was beating strangely.
Not with fear.
Not with the uncertainty that had followed them through the hidden passages.

Recognition.
Ella stood beside him, watching his expression carefully.
"Did you hear it too?"
Salvador nodded slowly.
"I heard it."
Felix's hand remained close to his sword as he studied the archway.
"Then we're not imagining things."
Harvey glanced around the garden.
"I was hoping for one peaceful room where nothing mysterious happened."
Felix gave him a look.
"You entered a hidden royal garden beneath an ancient castle."
Harvey sighed.
