The most surprising thing that Emrys learned about Sage was that he was a member of Cosmic Civilization.
It has to be known that Radcliffe once told him that Sage was the most powerful being from the Primordial Race.
According to Redcliffe, every Primordial Being is a unique creature that is born differently from the others. They have different shapes, sizes, and appearances. Although 90% of Primordial Beings were annihilated, there were still about 10% of them left. Most of them are only seeds of Primordials, left to drift in the endless darkness of Eternity. Tree of Chaos, Tree of Abyss, Void Devouring Beast, and a few more such creatures were those seeds who survived the great disaster that burnt the Eternity once ages ago.
Sage was also a Primordial Being, however, he was born before the great disaster. In fact, he was the reason for that disaster which annihilated the entire Cosmic Civilization and 90% of Primordials and Spiritas.
